Oh god, Kitami you can have my rain. It's T-storming outside.

I always want to post in this thread but whenever I look it's on a topic I know 0 about. Like mothman. ._. But that doesn't mean I'm not reading ...

HIM_ROCK 03-08-2009 05:37 PM

It's not that hard to find out about mothman. Just search for him on Wikipedia and you can get information on him.

Elmira Swift 03-08-2009 06:00 PM

Wikipedia is our friend. But... you have to be careful because some of the info hasn't been verified. I mean, I wouldn't use it solely as a reference for a paper, but the author usually includes their sources, and you can use that as a jumping off point. Even with stuff like mothman.

Guivre 03-08-2009 06:20 PM

Okay, maybe I should rephrase that.

I have no interest in Mothman.

Elmira Swift 03-08-2009 06:23 PM

Or... underwater basketweaving? What are you interested in??

Thoth Star 03-09-2009 02:38 AM

Like a catalyst, HIM? xD Lol.
Rock n roll... I feel like rocking out all night looong.
To be honest, I think the chupabacabra is really an alien! No surprise huh?
I always jump to the conclusion of alienage...
Well, scientifically bigfoot is really the gigantitusappithicus blacki....
And the abominable snowman has basically the same genetics as the big foot...
So typically Dr. Krantz labeled them as "cousins" of each other... like how the homo sapiens (us) and the neanderthals are like cousins genetically...
I believe in big foot! Does anyone else?

Same here, Elmira. My friend (the one who was supposedly abducted by aliens) told me about it... So now I'm weary of aliens. >< Supposedly the greys are the "nice" aliens... but its hard to be sure...

Sorry krys... the faeries are sleeping. Want tea or coffee? I'll make you some! ^^

Hahaha cool Christa. Yetis are cool... but they're HUGE.
They scare me... >< I can't go backpacking alone anymore cuz of the bigfoots...
I always get scared of like getting kidnapped like that one poor reporter woman who was kidnapped for a month by the bigfoots.... and than she came back to tell her story and no one believed her and her own parents put her in a mental hospital for a couple yrs..
The poor thing!

Aww why's your nana sad?
*kisses ankle* I'll kiss it better... <33333
I want it to rain too... I'm kinda in a bad mood....

`Kitami 03-09-2009 09:56 AM

I believe in bigfoot...

Gabby:: They are big. Then again, so is bigfoot. Of course, I wouldn't want to run into either one unarmed. >_>;
That's horrible. If your child comes to you with something like that, even if it was outlandish, what kind of parent could label them as a crazy person? That's really sad.
Like my niece started talking randomly about the boy that lives in her room and scares her. Apparently his name is Willow. It was so weird. My mom told her dad about it and he said he thinks its not any 'boy', that its her baby brother watching over her. Which is dumb, because if it was Cohner, he wouldn't scare her. Besides, she'd know if it was him, I think.

Her cousin died. She's sick of her family dying. It makes her think she's going to die. ;-;
I wish you could kiss it better. <333 Cause it fucking hurts.
Oh it rained. xD Why are you in a bad mood, baby? -hugs-

Thoth Star 03-09-2009 08:41 PM

Thats cool. I think bigfoot is like a large chimp....
I know I think its sad too... If I was the parent I'd at least consider the possibility of bigfoots or aliens or whatever... I wouldn't instantly be like "You're crazy child."
So does that mean Willow is a ghost? Thats kinda creepy..

Its sad whenever someone dies, especially a family member but that doesn't mean we can't live to our hundreds! *kisses some more* <333 Oh baby, I hope it heals quickly.
My friend was being an ass the other day when he was rolling and I was like "Dude leave me alone" and he was all "What? Are you pmsing?" I sooo wanted to punch him but I didn't...
I don't know why I've been getting soo easily annoyed lately... Other than that, I'm ok...

HIM_ROCK 03-09-2009 10:03 PM

Big foot and yeti's have different foot prints, but they look similar.

If your child starts saying they see someone in one or two certain places in your house then that's the time to check out your house's history.

Elmira Swift 03-09-2009 11:14 PM

I'd have to agree with you HIM. Lily used to see stuff in different parts of the house, but not consistently. Figured out that she was more freaking herself out over strange shadows. Still, I didn't tell her she was being nuts. I tried to figure out what it could be instead of leaving her to worry about it.

I think there are too many variances within the primate family for us to NOT assume that there are still a few odd stragglers here and there. Nobody has been able to come up with a good reason why Neanderthals became extinct (or did they?) and why Cro Magnon/modern homo sapiens/modern humans thrived when their cranial capacity was smaller than Neanderthals.

Thoth Star 03-10-2009 02:41 AM

Thats a good point, HIM... I think the yeti and bigfoot are definitely related...
But like humans have many genetic variations I think they do too, depending on their location. The yeti in China is definitely larger than the bigfoot of America.
Hmm, yeah my old house is haunted... There's this shadow creature thats all hunched over and it wanders around the house from midnight to 3am. Its creepy. ><

Very good, Elmira. Its mean to call your kid "crazy" just cuz they have an active imagination or is sensitive to spiritual energy... I do believe that kids are more likely to see ghosts than adults... because their minds are still fairly clear and honest and not yet disturbed by the media...
Yes, the neanderthals had far more advanced tools... And were certainly much more intelligent than homo sapien with their 3 pound brains... I always figured that instead of going extinct maybe they just evolved fast than we did and decided to make UFOs and fly to other parts of the galaxy... Maybe they're the aliens that have returned, far more advanced and intelligent than us. Our cousins have returned for better or worse!

`Kitami 03-10-2009 06:04 AM

Gabby:: I don't know what it is, because I've never really read stuff about it to get theories, but I do believe it exists.
I would too.
Yeah. He is. Once, at their old house, I was with her and her friend, and we heard music playing, and it was this toy chair of Damiana's that will only play if there's something sitting on it. First I thought that it was just a bug in the wiring of the toy, but then my sister said that a lot of Damiana's other toys went off without anyone near them, and sometimes they moved to other places like someone had been playing with them. So we figured it was a child spirit, and spirits can move with you sometimes, so its probably the same spirit.

I wish my nana could live to be like 200 or something. I can't even think of her ever dying. But she just thinks she's going to because most of her family dies young.
I don't even know what's wrong with it. It feels like a milder version of the pain that I was in when I first hurt it. Its the ankle that I broke last year, that they had to put a screw or a metal plate or something in it, and I'm afraid it might be coming apart, cause that doctor has been in trouble before for the things he's put in people's bodies screwing up. Like my dad's mom's hip replacement actually fell apart in her leg.
That's so stupid. I hate when people say that to me. I usually hit them. >_>;;
I've been getting pretty easily annoyed too, but then there's a lot of things that annoy me, so its pretty ordinary. XD;;

HIM:: The only thing we know about their house is that the people who rented it before them, the woman died with cancer. Ovarian cancer. And what's weird is that the woman next door has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and they thought my sister had ovarian cancer. I guess she doesn't since she hasn't said anything about it for several months, but still, that seems like such an odd coincidence to me. O_o

Thoth Star 03-10-2009 06:05 AM

Yay, Christa is still online! *glomps* <333 Hows your night going love? 0 30

`Kitami 03-10-2009 07:09 AM

-snuggles- <33
I'm just now eating dinner. >_>;;
And waiting for it to storm.

What're you doing?

Thoth Star 03-10-2009 07:11 AM

What are you having for din din?
I was just listening to techno (a cd I got at the rave from my dj friend) and reading an online manga... I'm pretty bored actually. I was trying to finish my painting earlier (the one with the waterfall in hawaii) but I couldn't seem to get the colors right! And than I got frustrated and just gave up.... How about you? 8)

`Kitami 03-10-2009 08:23 AM

Pizza. It was gross. I should have eaten some of the enchiladas left over from last night. xP
Cool. :3 I like techno. What manga are you reading?
I bet that will be so pretty when you finish it. o:
I'm just reading a book called Strange Candy. Its a collection of short stories by my favorite author.

HIM_ROCK 03-18-2009 04:13 PM

The ghost of forums past has come to rivive the paranormal.

Elmira Swift 03-18-2009 04:30 PM

Woot! HIM is the friendly ghost of forums past!

HIM_ROCK 03-18-2009 04:32 PM

Who says I'm freindly. I'm not friendly just plotting. <.< >.>

Elmira Swift 03-18-2009 04:34 PM

Well, how I define "friendly" and how other define it can vary ;) You're not carrying a weapon, are you?

HIM_ROCK 03-18-2009 04:35 PM

Yes I keep a revolver in my bloomers incase I run into a gay wolf in the woods.

Elmira Swift 03-18-2009 04:37 PM

I could see how the bloomers would be easier to conceal a weapon from a gay wolf in the woods than your corset. They are handy for that! I prefer an axe and keep it in my hat.

HIM_ROCK 03-18-2009 04:39 PM

The revolver works on the gay wolf because a strip teese wouldn't work on it.

I really need to stop reading these messed up versions of fairy tales.

Guivre 03-18-2009 04:41 PM

Pfft, you can't use an axe on a wolf. Well, you can, but if it happens to actually be a werewolf, you're screwed.

Elmira Swift 03-18-2009 04:46 PM

I could see how a strip tease wouldn't work on a gay wolf then. But a silver axe might work on a werewolf...

OH! I keep forgetting to mention this, but we had to go to someone's house in a neighborhood we hadn't been to before. Got out of the truck and walked up to the house and all of the hair on the back of my neck started standing up. Very uneasy feeling. Kept looking at the house and thought if it was the house - it's not the people - or just what. Couldn't shake the feeling until we were out of that neighborhood. I've lived here over 9 years and never felt like that before, not even in areas that are known to be haunted. I just had the very strong "get out" vibe. Even my daughter mentioned it. Paranormal, perhaps?
