They're remaking it, rumors started in 2007 I think then they confirmed it last year and we've not heard anything since.

If they do remake it I can't see be ever being as popular as the first version, there's something about Rocky Horror which just makes it what it is.

It was pretty ground-breaking when it came out. I mean, there weren't a lot of musicals out in the 70s that celebrated cross-dressing and various forms of sexuality. I'm guessing that if MTV does it, it's going to have to avoid looking like High School Musical in drag.

Apparently they want to have songs in that weren't in before. There was only one song written for Rocky Horror that wasn't used and it's on the second disc of the 2 disc special edition.

High School Musical in drag that thought made me laugh.

I didn't know that about the movie. Then again, by the time I was going to see it, the theater started to ban throwing stuff in the audience. I'm just glad that people are still into it!

I can't blame them for banning the throwing of things because of the ammount of things you can throw it'd get very messy.

I know, but it also made it so people didn't dress up as much. If I'd gone to a theater in LA or Hollywood, it would have been different. Where I lived, it was a little conservative to say the least!

When I went to see it on stage pretty much everyone dressed up except a few people.

I would be way too embarrassed to dress up. Seriously - some things should be left to the imagination!

Do you cosplay when you see the show?

I dressed up but I was ill so I ended up wearing bright pink tights to keep me warm because they were the only pair of tights that were thick that I had.

I had my corset top and black shorts on, most people wore pants because it wasn't too warm when we went but there were a few in hot pants and some crazy old women just in their undercrackers. Which was like "PUT IT AWAY!!!"

OMG!! Totally went blind from the visual about the old ladies!

My folks are in their late 60s now and still work at their local (huge!) Renaissance Faire in CA. Pretty funny seeing a bunch of burned out hippies trying to act like they're from the Elizabethan period. Anyhow, when the movie Conan the Barbarian came out, there were tons of people wearing chainmail loincloths and bikini tops and bottoms. And NOTHING else. Hello, a nice breeze frequently yielded some shocking results. Anyhow, fast forward to today - 20+ years later, and some of these same people are still wearing that crap! And, they hit on my dad - I'm sure it's out of sympathy, but ew.

Some things just should be covered up when you get old. Like the old men who wear speedos and the old ladies who decided to sun bathe in a bikini or worse TOPLESS!!

Please there are some things you just don't do when you're old. Showing off alot of flesh is one of them.

Amen to that. But, I'm the queen of modesty. Even when I was young and *cough*slender*cough - before the invasion of babies - there was just no way.

Wow what an adorable avatar elmira! I really like it. ^^
That is so hilarious... I like to talk to the hippy crowd sometimes because they have the craziest stories ever. haha. xD Conan was a good movie but I would never walk around in a loincloth... Ew, indeed.

Yeah its not good HIM... I don't want to see saggy old ppl. TT________TT thats why I don't go to many nudists beaches anymore cuz old ppl are like everywhere.

Seriously - I'm 43 and there's this thing called "gravity". Need I say more? I mean, if you're blessed with either great genes or a fabulous plastic surgeon, that's one thing. I'm glad that so many people either don't care or just are that confident, but... no.

Yeah. Nothing more creepy than getting hit on by 40yo men when you're in your teens or 20s with their wives standing there.

I'm waiting for injectable plastic to come out. You just know that they are thinking about it. Did you ever see "Brazil"? That was some pretty far out stuff with plastic surgery.

Yeah stuff like that creeps me out. x----x
Its so gorgeous out... I want to go to the beach!
Today was kinda weird... I was walking my dog on this street and strangely enough the entire road is blocked off with police cars... and the policeman are all like chit-chatting about the day and it didn't look like they were doing anything... and there was like a crushed red convertible in front of this high school. Weird... I hope no one died.

Eww, but plastic is sooo not attractive either HIM. I'd rather just use amazing moisturizers to keep my skin looking young rather than have a face-lift. There's too many horror stories in plastic surgery...

If this is any consolation, I did a fantastic job of moisturizing/sunscreening when I was in my 20s - and grew up in S. California. Even with moderately tinted windows, you still get the sun. Anyhow, my sister who is 3 years younger did not. People often think I'm 5-10 years younger than I am. Now, my hands and chest... another story.. but that's why god created lasers creams to get rid of stuff like that - or I could just get more tattoos.

My skin is messed up badly. No matter how much I moisuturize I still end up with really dry skin, I keep ending up with patches which are like a burn on my face because it's so dry.

Ouch! Some moisturizers contain a fair amount of alcohol in them, even ingredients that tend to dry out skin. Do you think you have contact dermatitis or something like that?

I'm going to try turning to natural soaps to use on my face again see if that does any good.

Last time I used natural soap was when I had an eye infection.

I have pretty obnoxious skin allergies. Some things like salicylic, AHA or glycolic acids or retinols usually do ok. But, if there is fragrance or more craziness added, my skin burns. I'm sure that in the UK there are a ton of natural-type beauty products out there. If not, soapmaking seems like fun! Have you checked out etsy.com? There are a lot of people there who make soap. Most are smart enough to use skincare grade fragrances as opposed to the type that's added to candles.
