The Chicago area does have some strong sightings from time to time. THis one got quite a bit of attention a few years back now. (It was pretty big, with lots of people seeing it.)
Quote:
The sighting
At approximately 4:30 p.m on Tuesday November 7, 2006, federal authorities at Chicago O'Hare International Airport received a report that a group of twelve airport employees were witnessing a metallic, saucer-shaped craft hovering over gate C-17.
According to eyewitness reports, the strange object was first spotted by a ramp employee who was "pushing back" United Airlines flight 446 which was departing Chicago for Charlotte, North Carolina. The ramp worker then apprised the flight crew of UA446 of the existence of the spinning,

But it is a bit too bright to star gaze all that much. It's not that bad, but its just not as fun.
Randomly, I'm really cravings Moo Shoo pork right now. D= Maybe I can make it tomorrow. I know I'm craving it because it's the one thing I never make myself, sooo many steps.

Nice, HIM.... Sept. is almost here too. My bro has his b-day that month too, on the 27th.
Good idea. It sucks to get crappy b-day presents... I usually tell my parents, "Just give my money so I can decide what to buy... Or get me paint supplies." That's what I've been getting strictly for the last 5 yrs. xD lol.
Haha, thats interesting... Seems to me when people were inside watching X-files they were like "Hey maybe ufos do exist???" And so they looked at the skies more at night and probably saw more ufo's...
Oh yeah, Guivre. I've read about Chicago being a hot spot for ufo sightings...
Gate C-17, so a military base or lab??? Wow, thats so trippy! xD
Bright... you mean city lights? There's not too many lights here so stargazing is almost amusing, to me anyways.
Mmm, chinese food does sound good... :drool:

Some of the accounts of UFO sightings are really interesting some you end up laughing at because tthey saw a weather balloon or a lamp post and thought it was a UFO.
The ones that have been released recently were interesting because two police officers in their helicopter saw a UFO and chased after it until they nearly ran out of fuel.

Haha yeah, exactly HIM... Or even funnier yet, someone saw a plane and thought it was a ufo. That happened a few nights ago, this kid in my Chem. class came outside and was like "Hey is that a UFO?" I was like "Hell no, that's a plane... Do you wear contacts?" lol.
Or whats super funny is how most of the people abducted are total rednecks that live out in the country on a farm or something.... Just random stuff.
That is an interesting case... Did they get good footage of the UFO?
See, police officers are a reliable source because they already know they sound stupid admitting that they were chasing after a ufo in the first place. xD

:sleep: I'm too tired to go to the last page. >_>;;
I haven't seen any UFOs lately, but when I was at my grandma's last week, I was reading and I was sitting in a chair in the living room. I was the only one in the house, cause my grandparents (and the dog) were outside. So suddenly, it sounds like someone is walking on the tile in the doorway and then onto the carpet. Like they were walking out of the bedroom, which also opens onto the tile in the main doorway. O_o I turned around, and obviously nothing was there. It was freaky. The lady that lived there before my grandparents bought the house died in that bedroom too. Maybe it was her spirit. o_o;

Wow, that is pretty creepy... Maybe, you heard a ghost or a spirit.
Its very possible... Than again, old houses do creak. Was it a creak or an actual foot step?

You hear foot steps going across upstairs and even though you know no one is up there you still look at the ceiling and follow the foot steps...Well I do anyway.

Some houses just get haunted sometimes, like my dads house is 60 yrs and its severely haunted/// There's a ghost that turns on & off lights and fans... And sometimes he gets angry and randomly will slam a door closed. ><
How are you today, love? I'm at school right now... On a school comp. Lol.

Him:: I do too.
Gabby:: I know its freaky. Its the first time I've ever heard anything there.
My nana's house was built in 1950, we just found that out. o.o
Wow, you seem to have a mean spirit in your dad's house. D: We had those in the house I grew up in. They were very angry. x___x;
I'm alright. ^^ I was at my nana's today to get some cough syrup, and we started going through old jewelry and I found a bunch of cool necklaces and earrings. And I found a cool little ring that's made of like braided wood. ^^
I'm going to GED class with my sister and her husband tomorrow night. o_o;

At my father's house, there used to be a little boy that loved to play there. He died of cancer when he was 8, and he still hangs around there. =/ It freaks the heck out of me, he's a nasty little bugger. All he wants is attention, but I get traumatized very easily. I was waiting for my step mom and my dad one time, and I was alone, and he said "They'll be down in a second" and I freaked! I ran downstairs, and he chased after me, and ughh it was not fun. > _ < I didn't know it was him, because he sounded older than 8, but apparently entities like him come in different forms. You have to say "Adam, leave me alone" or he'll bug you. =/ Freaky.

Well at least it's not a melevalant one that tries to push you down stairs which seem to be common over here, normally in public places as well.

I guess. It doesn't really bother me anymore, I don't go to my dad's house. Adam does some mischievous stuff, though, like making it so the speakers won't work. Little stuff that an eight-year-old would do. x3

Childrend spirits are always the best to have rather than grumpy old man spirits which slam your doors.

My niece keeps saying that her little brother is in her room and on her bed and stuff. I don't know if she's just pretending or if his spirit is really hanging around with her. I find it kind of sad. :(

Maybe. That'd make sense... But, I think its also a bit of confusion.
See, before her brother died, before my sister was even pregnant with him, my niece would tell us there was a little boy in her room. She said he played with her and everything. His name apparently was Willow.
Well, after her brother passed away, any time she'd say she saw the little boy, her dad would correct her and tell her its her brother watching over her.
So she might not be seeing my nephew at all, but she's saying she is because her dad is obsessed with him. ><

That is odd.
Her father probibly feels it would be better that she now thinks it's her brother watching over her than someone else.

Guilt can make you want to believe something so much that you find yourself saying it to people.
Very strange how the mind works to try and make things seem right.
