Why is it HIM gets the feeling of someone kneeling on HIM's bed right by HIM's leg and when HIM looks there's no one there and no one's been in.

There hasn't been any activity in our new house and, honestly, its kind of nice. In our old house feeling like you were being watched (among other things) was basically an every-day thing. Its been a nice quiet change here though. I sort of had to get used to it at first. :lol:

The only time something like that's creeped me out was when I had my wrist grabbed and no one else was around because it was a proper firm grip on my wrist.

When my friend and I moved into this place last September the guy living down the hall tried to tell us there was a ghost in the apartment. We got pretty excited, but I've not felt anything here, ever. I get scared at my partner's place, but I think it has more to do with his very dark corridor than any presence..

heh people when they stay at my house say that they is a scary presence in my house. I've never felt anything myself. It was my grandmothers house so maybe thats why I don't feel like it. Or maybe I'm the scary presence RRAR!

I lurk in dark places that's why you should be afraid of the dark I might be hiding in it.

HIM:: Yeah....when I was like 8, in my bedroom a solid shadow grabbed my arms/wrists. I was so scared that I passed out. I didn't come to until morning and I had bruised where the thing had held onto me. I think that will stay on my mind forever...

Maybe. My grandma did cleansings and what not for people. So its weird to think there is anything negitive here.

Maybe they went home with her because they liked her ?

Maybe I'm just dense and don't notice or they think my reptilian nature would eat them up.

It probibly doesn't mean any harm to you that's why you've not felt it and those who have felt it,whatever it happens to be, feels that they might be a threat.

Has anyone spoke about Slenderman here yet?

I've seen bits about him here and there.

In short, he's this 'paranormal' entity that seems to be ageless. Tall, well over 6 feet tall, in a black suit. Has no facial features, long limbs that seem well out of proportion and seems to be attracted to small children.

He's shown briefly in the youtube series marble hornets but there are a few pictures 'capturing' him.

I think he's fascinating, even if he is meant to be a 'internet myth'.

I've just had to Google search him but it does sound interesting, having seen a couple of photos it does look like their slender man is some poor guy walking past.

He's fast becoming an internet legend. :)

Is that any thing like shade people? I'm curious I'll have to Google it now.

Sure there is, there is well documented evidence of beings such as shadow people.

There are two main varieties:

1) 'The Hat Man'

A shadow that is shaped as if a man in an overcoat is wearing a wide brimmed hat.

2) 'The Veiled Woman'

A shadow that is shaped as if a woman is stood wearing a veil that hides her shape.

The shadow people don't always follow this look, some look like bare skeletons that are black. They're malevolent, but not in an obvious way, they just like to play tricks.

Shadow people sound interesting.
