Eesh, I hear ya. D: My hat arrived today, which means my costume is almost done and looks awesome. But I still need to make Deidei's bird, and it... isn't cooperating. :c I think I got rock instead of clay.

I need mine mostly done by tomorrow for school. :c I took it to a friends house to use her sewing machine, but we couldn't get it to work. So she called her mom, who said she couldn't help over the phone, but would make it for me when she got back from work and drop it off since they live so close. I felt really bad, but they insisted and she said it would only take like ten minutes since I already had it pinned and just need some edges sewn together. I'm immensely grateful, but I feel guilty. Their whole family is so nice!

I officially hate this clay. :c This is nasty horrible clay and I hate it. It crumbles and cracks and breaks and has absolutely no give at all. The wings are going to be ugly, ugly nasty things and I'm finding it hard to care anymore.

It's not complete, but my costume is done enough to wear to school and look good! :drool: I'm so excited, we've been planning this for almost a year, and today the whole Fellowship (sans Boromir, but our Gandalf is Gandalf the White, and Boromir wasn't, um, there for that) will attend my high school. <3
I can't believe its here!!! 8D *unreasonably thrilled* This day feels like Christmas, Halloween, and my birthday rolled into one super special awesome day.

I decided that anyone who gives me a tough time about Birdy will be punched in the face. ;D Or at least, threatened with a non-exploding Birdy.

IT WAS SO MUCH GREAT FUN. :drool: Our group was amazing, everyone looked AWESOME, nobody dropped the ball and half-assed it. <3 There were some really great costumes today, including Alan (the girl who dressed up as him was AMAZING), a duo of a piece of sushi and an Asian (which was completely non-offensively done), Peach, Mario, Luigi and Toad Mario Kart style (they were wearing boxes painted up like go-carts), and so many other completely wonderful things. :'D

It was a pretty good day overall. c: Really busy, but really good. We had to run around town to find the last costume stuff we needed, which took forever. o_o But I was able to bloodify Zombie Dei! ;D It looks so spiffy now. <3 Even if I did look like I'd killed someone for the fifteen minutes or so between coating my palms in theatrical blood and washing them off. owo

Costume hunting takes SO long. o_o Glad you got what you needed, though! Haha, see, I love that fact that you're being zombie Dei. Makes it that much better. <3 ...That would have been a good time to ask your parents to buy you things. :B

And as far as canon goes, Dei's technically dead. :'D And gets brought back via some ninja thing later on. So I could even push it by saying Zombie Dei is canon. ;D I did. 8D Mom sprung for the headband and hat for me. <3 And they look so fantastic together.
