Oh, gosh, can I finally feel less like a zombie than I have this past week? I think I'd almost forgotten what sleep is, as well as sunshine, the outdoors, and being less than halfway vertical. :sweat: Thanks to the remnants of Lee, I was the main one keeping up with the water seeping in because of all the rain, and hardly sleeping at all. :gonk: Thankfully that's done, and we've been dry today, though I'm dreading the thought of any more rain for a good month, not that that's likely to happen.

*falls into thread* Aerkgthdfkgji! My nerves are about frazzled and done. Moving out, getting ready for college, fostering a cat and everything else is NOT treating me well, and everyone in my life seems absolutely determined to make things more difficult for me. I would like nothing more than to curl up and sleep for the next three days.
But ugh look at me being a baby, I need to stop! Just had to rant a bit first. :gonk:

Max- Hurricanes are not treating you well, are they? :gonk: I hope you can get some rest and some dry weather, poor thing! You want I should come over there and make someone else keep up with the seepage? *cracks knuckles*

Oh, I don't think you're being a baby about anything. I can imagine just the stress of moving out and going to college is bad enough without everything else being piled on top of it. If anything, you do need some time to take for yourself and rant when you feel like it, or rest when you want.
Just as long as you don't completely let yourself fall into that cycle and find yourself unable to get out. Which I really should take that advice for myself, as I've been resting a bit too much recently. I just really need to refocus on my job hunt and try to find as many places to apply at, at this point, no matter where they are, and do it within the next month or so. :gonk: <--At this point, I wish there was like a Mega-gonk emote, or something similar to express the despair I'm feeling right now, from my current situation, especially this week.

It just seems so hard to be able to focus on job-hunting when I've got so much else on my plate as well, like transporting my sister from her school to work, taking my dad to certain appointments, keeping up around the house a bit when I can, giving attention to the animals when they demand it, and of course, last week being stuck in the basement, and not sleeping very much at all. Out of the whole week, I know I probably only slept through the night for two nights, and finally come Friday, the storm was gone, and the worst of the seepage was hardly a trickle, so I could finally catch up on some much needed sleep. This past weekend I was mainly tired from varying extremes of too little, and too much sleep, but I think I've got back to normal at last, as far as sleep, and thankfully I'm not seeing any threats of hurricanes coming anywhere near the coast. :yes: Thankfully, this past weekend and through it, we've had sunny days, so everything is drying out pretty well, and but for a slight chance of rain in the next couple days, it's looking to be good for the rest of the week. =3 But, really, the main reason I was the main one taking care of any seepage was because I'm the main able one that doesn't have to get up at a certain time for work or school, and of the three of us who don't go out to work or school, I'm the most able to stand for long periods, and do more physical activity, mostly because of my youth compared to my Dad and Uncle. :sweat: Though, surely, if there had been anyone else available and able to help me, I would have definitely taken advantage of that fact. And, even though my mom offered on a couple times that if I needed help to keep up with the deluge that the seepage could be at the worst of times, I would have felt too bad to keep her awake, rather than letting her sleep as best as she could so she could be aware at work.

Well, if my visits were a bit sporadic before, they might be even more so in the future. I have a job, part-time, but still a job, as a cashier at Walmart. I know I'm going to be busy with work, as the particular one I'm at, is #1 on the East Coast, and #4 overall for the whole Walmart brand. Add in the upcoming holidays, and I'll surely be tired for the first couple weeks, especially since I've been out of work for five months now. :sweat: But, I'll try to stop by when I have a chance. :yes:

Speaking of, has anyone heard from Lathy? I've not seen her on for a good while. I hope she's doing alright. :yes:

Thanks, I hope so too! I think a big part of the problem is underestimating how much time my homework will take. Today I planned to get done with all my creative writing work, reading for history and women's studies, study Russian pronunciation, and take a peek at and maybe get started on my math. In three hours of straight work I got done with my women's studies, half of my history, and half my creative writing. :gonk:

Congrats on the new job! :D I hope it goes well for you. And yeesh, sounds like you will have a lot on your hands, especially for not being used to it. Hopefully with both of us being so busy, we'll at least be able to keep in touch a little bit!

I haven't talked to her nearly as much as I'd like (that goes for you as well, mind!), but Lathy's been around on Tumblr and dA, she's fine. :3 She's pretty swamped with stuff as well, and she did mention Mene has been being weird for her, it lags and acts up when she tried to get on. :<

as for what happend i was driving home on a NON MAIN ROAD and some A-hole Racer folks were racing not caring there could be oncoming traffic AkA me. so i had a choice of head on collision with something going mostlikely 90+ or swerve out of the way I decided to swerve missed them but i did slam into a parked car... Both cars were totaled.

Oh my god, that's horrible! I'm so glad you're relatively alright, I'm sorry your in pain though. ;a; Did they catch the people who were racing? What asshats. :/

sept 12th, and it distracted me so much that i got ci's for the people i had promessed last month but i didnt get myself a set!

*curls up on large and warm pile of blankets and pillows* Man, am I ever so tired, between not getting nearly enough sleep, and having to work super early this morning, I am way past ready for bed. At least I know what my schedule is for work, through Black Friday. The next few weeks are going to have some fun mornings for me, considering that I have early starts on several days, including three this upcoming week. Which wouldn't be so bad, if I was actually used to getting up early in the morning, but to start working at 7am is just odd feeling for me, when I'm more used to starting in the early afternoon and working into the evening/night. One good thing about my current schedule is that I'm off on Thanksgiving, but I have to work Black Friday morning, and have to start at 3:30am! :gonk: I knew with my anytime/anyday availability, it would be something like that, but it's still a bit to come to grips with, to actually see. :sweat: The next hardest thing is going to actually work out my schedule for that week, as far as sleep, and how I'm going to make sure I'm awake on time for work. But, I still have time, so I'm not going to worry overly much as far as that. :)
