On Unicreatures, today is the day I finish training one of my Armors, "Mydas". Yes, he's important enough to have a name, because he's an Armor.

I don't name all of my unicreatures because I run into name creating malaise from adopting too many thingies from Valenth. D=

Between Valenth and Squiby, I run into writer's block of the naming variety. There's only so many pets you can name after one or another goddess/god/hero/literary character.

I could reuse names, but that would make them lose their individuality. :yes:

I see, lol. I mostly just name based on things that I like or else make random things up but those ones aren't very satisfying cause they don't express me very well lol.

weirdly enough, i've named every single online pet, including every unicreature i've gotten (and that's a lot. I even named every single one in the 5 complete herds i have). I've reused very few names, and i feel like it's ok for me to reuse names occasionally if i can't think of anything else, as long as i don't give the same name to 2 of the same species. some of the names i come up with are random ones i just make up that aren't literary or historical or mythological, like Paquelli, Soryu, Jesara and Jacolla.

lol, I always want to name them all, but I wouldn't care about double naming them so much, most of the time I would try to make it something specific to them or that had some kind of significance to me though so it would be hard there are only ever a few names I can think of that do that... certain species might inspire more names, though.

I got an exalted Nagi, so I now have 90 accomplishments. almost time to adventure in the mountains.

I use a site called 20000-names.com for the most part. You can search by meaning or origin.

That's cool lol but I just do things that have specific associations for the most part...
