Yep. I don't have to make too many changes, fortunately. Those who have read my paper really like it.

fiarra 02-08-2009 02:48 AM

*wanders through the frilly-thread* I like your shoes in that picture. :)

Pekopon 02-09-2009 01:43 AM

Hi again~ Just stopping by :D

I decided to loli up my avatar because I couldn't think of anything else to do with it XD So far I have the blouse and skirt as you can see!

Tsunii: I'd love to see a better picture of your dress! May I ask where you got it?

Popcorn Gun 02-09-2009 04:10 AM

For all the Lolita lovers, are you a part of PoupeeGirl?

fiarra 02-09-2009 04:19 AM

YES I AM OMG

...*cough* I've been on the site since last March (so mad I missed the Vday event last year!) and I love it to bits. it's fun to see other people's closets...

Pekopon 02-09-2009 04:59 AM

Yey :D I friended you back!

Have you been collecting the new lolita items? There are so many I want but I know I won't have enough ribbons for everything so it'll be hard to choose T_T

fiarra 02-09-2009 05:01 AM

Yay I got your message.

And I am totally in love with this event. It's so hard picking just a few things though. I'm especially loving the boots and the coats though. What have you gotten so far?

Pekopon 02-09-2009 06:06 AM

I got the jumperskirt, headbow, three pairs of shoes, jacket, blouse, socks, and candy bag so far XD I can't resist.. I just want everything!

Tsunii 02-09-2009 08:29 PM

Uzura:
Oh, would like to read that too.
'Bout the pictures of my dress... I've had a lot to do and haven't been able to take any photos of it yet and I don't even have a camera right now. T^T But I'll fix them as soon as I can.

Fiarra:
Thank you! I found them at a secondhand store. xD

Pekopon:
I put up some pictures when I can.
I got it from a store in Gothenburg namned Shock. They have more clothes like that one that I want, but they're too expensive for me right now.. =P

Uzura 02-10-2009 03:08 PM

Blah, sorry for being away. My friends and I were working on a movie at school for a contest.

fiarra 02-10-2009 05:35 PM

*fluffles Uzu* It's ok! What kind of movie? o_o

Pekopon 02-10-2009 07:09 PM

Do any of you on here attend anime conventions? I do for the jrock and lolita side of it!
I'm trying to get all my reservations for this year's Sakuracon in order and it's so irritating, though >o>

fiarra 02-10-2009 07:43 PM

I go to Anime Boston and CTcon. The past few years I've dressed lolita because I haven't gotten any cosplay together to my satisfaction in a while. =S It's nice because there are a lot more lolita event recently.

Pekopon 02-10-2009 07:57 PM

Ah it's the opposite for me.. the cosplay gets in the way of lolita wearing D: Of course, I don't only wear lolita at conventions.. but this year I hope to squeeze it in and attend the lolita panel :D! Assuming it doesn't conflict with other things...

fiarra 02-10-2009 08:05 PM

xD I honestly wish I'd worn cosplay instead those times. Because I can wear lolita at meetups if I want.. but I have less chances to wear any of my cosplay.

I've gone to the lolita panels and fashion shows at the last couple cons though. They're usually pretty beginner, but it's nice to see what other people come up with. This year at CTcon, the j-fashion show is going to be a main event on the first night.. so that's gonna be fun to watch.

Pekopon 02-10-2009 08:07 PM

Yeah that's true! You can only wear cosplay at a con, but lolita can be worn to meet ups easily.

I mostly would like to go to the panel because the other lolitas in my area will be there and it'd be fun to meet up with them :D But yeah, most times the little fashion shows at cons aren't that great.. XD;

fiarra 02-10-2009 09:04 PM

=X There is so much drama between the lolitas in my area. It's kinda petty, but it's the way it is. There's the one main group I hang out with who is super-random and silly. But it's a bit awkward now because the one girl in the group kinda took my boyfriend... (now my ex). I'm determined not to be bitter and still hang out with the awesome group though. And then there's the other group that has a couple life-stylers in it.. and there was just drama.

x_x;;;

Pekopon 02-10-2009 09:43 PM

Wow! I don't think my area has any drama really. That sucks that some people have to be like that and create such drama =o= in the Seattle area there is a small group who meets up often and then every once in a while there is a large meet up with people who are more casually into lolita.

fiarra 02-10-2009 10:08 PM

Yea.. I dunno why there's so much drama here. I think it's because we're such a small state and there's a really weird division of the type of person who is into the fashion.

Uzura 02-11-2009 01:55 AM

I wish I knew more people who dressed lolita. I know two girls who make their own outfits, but that's it. On the upside, when I explain lolita to other people, they seem really interested in it.

fiarra 02-11-2009 02:10 AM

Yay you have to convert people!

Uzura 02-11-2009 03:01 AM

I can get people interested in it, but we can't buy anything. We're poor college students after all ;-;

Uzura 02-13-2009 03:55 AM

Ooo, my thread's so quiet.
