Are you that sick? Hopefully it's nothing series. I hope you get better. It's been a little boring without your antics.

Well, I have a carpel tunnel in my wrists and because of the heavy lifting at my job, it's gotten so bad that it pulsates with pain. I can't wait for a doctor's appointment so since I'm off tomorrow, I'm going to the ER.

At least it's nothing too serious. Worried me there for a moment. My mom had carpel tunnel, and it caused her quite a bit of pain, so I semi know what you're going through. I just have tendonitis in both wrists, and when it flares up, even lifting light things can send sharp pains through my wrists. Are you going to see about getting the surgery to get rid of it?

Oh gawd, opening my car door and picking up a pot hurt my wrist.
It's like...I can't pick anything up.

so I only go by what they will cover for me.

Try getting some wrist braces/supports. That will ease some of the stress from your wrists when you lift. Dont get crappy ones from like walmart, go to a medical supply store and tell them your problem. They'll be able to set you up with something.

I'm poor too, my insurance is the Access card, and they're extremely stingy on what they'll cover. My mom had the surgery done, and she was on Access and Medicaid. You just need a doctor (possibly a specialist) to say it's severe enough to need surgery, and it should/might be approved.

Nah, I have what I need. I will get it done when I can.

But I changed my mind about the ER tomorrow.
Rather, we are making BIG plans for Mom Day for my mom.

But anyways, I'm heading to bed.

Yeah it seems Sin left us. She hasn't been active since the 12th. Maybe we should have come up with two people to take care of the cookbook. With Sin gone it's not moving along, we can't add recipes.

I am so happy I came across this thread! I love cooking, and I don't generally follow recipes... but I am always looking for new things to cook, and I am totally stoked to share anything I create that actually tastes soooo good.
This Red Curry Soup is something I made out of desperation when I was really hungry and only had a few things left-over in the fridge. It turned out AMAZINGLY, and I have made it several times since then.
