Evening guys! Finally got some computer time today. :) I've been busy with the stepkids this weekend, and trying to spend some time away from it as I've put a lot of hours in at work. :P

I'm so excited though as I had an appointment on friday with the admin for financial assistance at the school and I should be eligible for the pell grant. I'm so happy!

Going to get my associates in Early Childhood Developement and for Education Paraprofessional. If and when I finish that I'm thinking about going to part time and working on my bachelors, but one thing at a time!

Ohh awesome Irk3n!! I would love to teach Japanese, but I don't think there's much demand in public schools. I think I would rather work with younger kids. We'll see.

See the thing I'd worry about Nao is getting a bunch of unruly teenagers. Kids at younger ages tend to be easier to handle, and less of a threat. *shrugs*

I don't quite know what I'll end up doing, but what really looks fun is being part of the head start program run by the goverment - they go to people's houses and monitor the growth of toddlers by doing things like getting them to build with blocks and color with crayons. I love them when they're small - they're so cute.

They're only cute when you only spend so many minutes with them.
They lose that cute factor long before they hit their school days: when they turn into crawling, bawling, puking snot factories.

Spend eight hours a day babysitting thirty toddlers.
You'll lose those rosy glasses in no time.

LOL. I know Connie, I've spent time with my friend's kids and I've babysat before - I've seen temper tantrums and snot balls. I don't mind it if I can go home to a quiet house, but if I were to have a little kid 24/7 I would lose it. I love having my quiet time too, so I enjoy spending time with other people's kids and getting to hand them back at the end of the day.
