It's a Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters x Harry Potter crossover fic. :3 It's the first one I've seen finished that wasn't a one-shot.

Yu-gi-oh/harry potter? that sound intresting? is that on here or on fanfiction or some other website?

It's on Fanfiction.net. :3 It's got some parts where it annoys me, and parts where it pleases me. (It really bugged me that they had Malik "forget" he was changing in front of two strangers, so that there could be a convenient, "Ohai, you got something on your back," part. :/ I also don't much like that they're only using the dub names (save for "Ryou" and "Malik" and using the title "aibou"), but that I can at least overlook more than a lapse in character. xD)

Well i do admit the changing infront of people sounds kind of bad. Seems like the writer couldnt think of anything better to happen to create that scene. I guess they are using dubbed names for easyness. Anyway i have never been a realy big fan of fanfiction.

I did when i was younger try and write an Escaflowne one, it had a decent storie line but it was rubbish compared to what i write now. ^^ So you have alot of cross overs? what are your favorite ones then?

I admit that Joey Wheeler is a lot easier to write out than Katsuya Jyounouchi/Jounouchi (depending on how you Romanize it). xD But still... they're all supposed to be Japanese and living in Japan (this fic makes a point of reiterating that a lot, too). "Tristan Taylor" (in place of Hiroto Honda), "Tea Gardner" (Anzu Mazaki) and Joey Wheeler (Katsuya Jyounouchi)... don't sound Japanese at all!

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Malik's back was scarred up thanks to his father, by a knife held over a fire. In this fic, it keeps talking about how insecure Malik was about his back and how he hated when it was seen or attention was drawn to it (whether or not his scars were showing). And so he randomly forgot he was changing in front of two people he didn't know? :/ I would think he would be too paranoid to even come close to forgetting about that, especially when he's in a tight space.

I am a ridiculous Yu-Gi-Oh! addict, so pretty much anything I read or write has to do with it. xD It kills me that the series is fourteen years old... it seriously doesn't seem like it!

Yeah i remember the storie behind his back ^^. Maybe they could have had him getting hurt and someone needed to take his shirt of the bandage a wound and they saw it that way? ok that rubbish as well but its the first thing that came into my head.

Last time i watched yugioh it was in the middle of 5D and the Earthbound Gods were going around killing everyone lol.

I've barely seen any 5D's, but I've seen a lot more of it than I have of GX. xD I like 5D's better than GX, but I still like Duel Monsters the best. *o* I fell in love with all of the characters. That might be why it bugs me a little bit more than usual when someone messed with their personalities that badly.

In another chapter, they had Malik sleeping without a shirt on and he got water thrown on him to wake him up. He shot up and was disoriented and got up without putting a shirt on, and people saw his back. Why couldn't they have just started with that, instead of the other BS with him changing? The latter was a lot more believable.

5D get really good and really dark when the earth bound gods come in. When they duel against someone with an earthbound god. The marking of the god appears as lines on the ground. When the monster is then summoned anyone apart from the duelist inside the lines that mark out the shape of the god are killed as a sacrifice for the summon.

The gods were running around destorying citys and killing a hell of alot of people. 5D was really well written is alot more intrsting that GX. The only bit of GX i really like is Yubels season, and the last episode were Yuugi appears and pwns Judais ass.

Ah, I think I saw that "lines on the ground" part in one of the opening themes. And wooow, my brain totally just flatlined itself. D: I'm not coming up with any commentary at all.
