Hiya again everyone, busy busy busy. I have been rushed off my feet all day at work and then trying to dodge the traffic to get Cameron from the sitters and then the girls from school. Thank god the TV distracts all so I can have a bit of hush and comfort before I need to go make tea.

I'm doing alright. Spent most of the morning making phone calls and paying bills/balancing checkbook. I say all morning...OK so I woke up at 10am again. I was up until 2am though. I really need to get to bed earlier and get more into an earlier routine. :gonk:

Need to do a little bit of grocery shopping later, and I think it's finally time to buy a new mop. The one I have I absolutely hate. It's one of those 'Snap on' sponge on a stick. Well the plastic snap on part doesn't stay on so I have to literally hold onto the sponge to ring it out. I've tried the cheap kind with the cotton strands...that worked OK, until it's end when it shed everywhere. I'm going to try this mop which has cloth strips that you can throw into the washer to wash. I think that one sounds promising.

I like the whole swiffer concept, but it looks like it's more expensive to have to buy all the pieces to that rather than go to the old fashion mop and bucket.

I use a mop and bucket, I got a new one last week, a fancy one. It was a gift from work since I am leaving to be a "housewife" so they thought it would be funny to give me all these goodbye gifts like mops and baking trays and feather dusters. Though then they all chipped in and got me a really fancy hair kit since I am training to be a hairdresser on one of them at home coruses.
I need to pay my bills soon, I will sort it out tomorrow afternoon, I'm on a half shift so I can get it done then

That's awesome for your colleagues to chip in and do that for you! I've never had a fancy sendoff, even when I left for England after working at the same place for like 4 years. Heck, I didn't even get a card...they printed off something on the computer and signed it. That was it.

Well I have worked there for nearly six years and got on really well with my collegues and my boss and had been promoted once to team leader so I deserved a good send-off lol.
I am really going to miss them.
I got a lovely card too, and a box of chocolates, though my daughters practically demolished that xD
