Dimi: o.O who knows. Though the people I hang out with tend to be terribly picky and critical of movies so. *shrug*
|
@Sunlit: Well, I'd probably watch it anyway, since I grew up on the Transformers cartoons when I was a kid. So it's a subject that's always held my interest.
|
Dimi:...oh i wish i wasn't suffering from the problem.*pouts*
|
@Naoto: I know what you mean, I also wish I wasn't suffering from that problem. *sigh*
|
*waves at everyone* Hi hi!!
|
*runs and jumps in jelly's arms crying*JJEEEELLLLLYYYYYY
|
@Jana: Hey there, how're you doing? Have a nice trip?
|
Dimi: good plan. I plan to watch them eventually.
Jelly: hi there. ^^ How was your day? |
@Sunlit: I was actually a little skeptical when I first heard about the first Transformers movie. I was afraid they were going to butcher the plot and all that. But I was pleasantly surprised when I actually saw the movie.
|
*loses balance and falls over* Uh...hi...Naoto: How are you?
@Dimi: It was good. I actually didn't have to walk as there was a Wii game I wanted to pick up for m sister, so I got a ride to Hollywood video. =) @Sunlit: It was very nice. I finished some drawings, argued with the scanner and drank a nice cup of Apple Cider. =D How was your day? |
-sneaks in and clings to dimi rubbing against his cheek-
|
Dimi: I'm always skeptical when something I'm a fan of gets turned into a movie or tv show. One of my absolute favorite book series is being made into a tv show by hbo. I can only hope they'll do it some justice. I'll get around to seeing Transformers probably when I borrow it from someone or other.
Edit: Jelly: Sounds fun. ^^ Mine's been good as well. I've been doing a Star Wars marathon. I'm about to start on Return of the Jedi which is my favorite. <3 Kitty: Hello there. *watches you molest Dimi's face* |
@Jana: That's cool. :yes:
@kitty: *is clung to and rubbed on* Didn't like the life-sized Dimi doll with the pocket warmers in the cheeks, huh? @Sunlit: Yeah, I can understand that. Especially with all the movies that were messed up when compared to the original series that they were adapted from. |
hihi sun =] how are you today?
Dimi: no Dx but why be there when the real thing is here? |
Jelly: I'm good feeling like killing some 9 year olds and my dogs sick and we all know what it means when dogs are sick...EWWW
|
@Naoto: Oh, yuck. I'm sorry to hear about your dog being sick.
|
@Naoto: Awww, poor doggy. And why do you want to kill 9 year olds?
|
-continues to rub cheek on dimi- besides, you like it. xP
|
Dimi: thanks i just cleaned up and "accident"*shudders*
Jelly: lets just say my girl scout meeting was a disaster!! One of my girl's has a lot of mental problems which means i can't reprimand her plus she dosen't listen to me and another has hard core ADD and she cried because she didn't get to finish the project we worked on yet she was up out of her chair all the time talking to people and telling secrets!! |
@kitty: Well, I suppose you've got a point there. :XD
@Naoto: Eww, you have my sympathies. :XP  |
Dimi: I'm a little more hopeful because series seem to turn out a little better as book adaptations I feel. But I've noticed hbo took a lot of liberties with true blood. Haven't gotten far into the first book but there are big differences. It doesn't bother me with that because it's not like I was this huge fan of the sookie stackhouse series before hand. But with song of Ice and Fire....the plot is so precise, everything happens for a specific reason and each character definitely has their role to play. Sometimes it takes a few books later for things to take full effect. As the series is incomplete, I'm afraid that if they leave something out it might become important later. Hopefully they'll keep in close communication with the author about it.
*takes a breath* Kitty: I'm doing pretty well. Enjoying Star Wars. ^^ You? |
Dimi: of course i do x3 I'm so stuper smart, oh wait, you wouldn't know that >.> that was a gaia/msn thing. well msn really, but in a group chat with all the cool folks of gaia lolz.
You have msn? Sun: oooh star wars i unfortunatally have had my filling of it for a while, i got tired of watching all the movies like three times straight in two weeks Dx why could my ex just like watch something else????? like i mean yeah the first time it was cool, and the second was ok, but a third? i was like "you just watched this yesterday..." |
@Sunlit: Hmm, I haven't been reading many books lately. I should remedy that. My problem is that I start reading a book that I really get into, and I lose all track of time. I want to read the Borne series, though. If for no other reason than to find out how much they left out of the movies.
@kitty: No, I don't have MSN, but I've been debating installing it since it seems that most of the people I talk to online also use MSN. I've just been too lazy lately to do anything about it. :P |
movies based on books suck =[
Dimi: get it jerkwad, and then you can add me It's the only one that has somewhat adaptability to my crappy wireless, aim craps out too much, and i just stopped using yahoo, no real reasoning besides no one is ever on =/ |
Kitty: Ha ha ha. I understand why you'd be sick of it. I tend to watch them every 5 or 6 months in a marathon (just the old ones though, the new ones are...meh). There's certain movies I have yet to get sick of and this is one of them. *shrug* The other main one is Knight's Tale.
Dimi: Yeah I've been distracted like about my reading too but I'm trying to fix that. I joined the 50 book challenge thread and took on the challenge to try to motivate myself. If you like well written character driven fantasy with lots of intrigue and some time to put into it (they are long books) The Song of Ice and Fire series is for you. The first one is Game of Thrones if you're interested. I've also been meaning to read the Bourne series. It's in my never ending list of things to read. |
