Hi! Yay for kitty love! I wish I could have more but my Dad is allergic. It's a miracle we have 2, but he loves cats too so that might have something to do with it.

I used to have 3 ferrets. I loved them so much! They were so much fun to play with. I wish I could have some now but I'm too busy to look after them properly. Do your cats and ferrets get along well together?

One of the cats get along well with the ferrets. The other two I recently got and they're not used to them...

One time one of my ferrets jumped on one of their backs and you should have heard her scream!! xD

Welcome to Oldfarts, Hollow! It's cool to see we have another member join our thread. =3 I understand farm life fairly well. I use to live on my parents farm, and I had my daily chores which consisted of milking the goat and feeding the sheep, Dog and Llamas (when we had them). Sometimes I miss living out there as it's so peaceful, but the live so far out in the middle of nowhere that it takes an hour to get to 'civilization'. *grins*

Hey Daria - Wow I'm so shocked but happy to see they've put you on trial mod status! I think you'd do great, and it's kind of nice to of gotten to know you before you become staff as I can't be accused of brown-nosing if I hang out with you. :P Also, you can come and spill all the awesome behind-the-scenes stuff with me too... *nudgenudgewinkwink* :P

To be honest, so far the only behind the scenes thing I have seen that was vaguely amusing was Howdy teasing Jelly and the same in reverse....You can easily find that on Howdy's quest thread though:)

There's got to be more cool stuff other than that...! This is like finding out there isn't an Easter Bunny. :P

Well I am off to take my final. I am so excited that this class is over. After today I will have a week and a half until I officially have to return to work. Summer is over :(

It's damp and cold today. Not much to do - think I'll watch some John Carpenter horror movies and chill out. Anyone else a horror movie buff?

I'm not one for horror myself...my ex-husband loved it, and I use to watch it occasionally with him. I like a good thinking movie, personally. One of my all time favorites is "What Dreams May Come". Such a tearjearker but a classic in my movie library!

I'm smiling ear to ear today -- I love going up and down the clearance isles at Walmart, and today I found a clearanced JivePod for only $2!! (Originally $20 a pop) I kept on picking those up and playing with them in the store, but never could bring myself to buy one. Now I've gotten one, I'm wanting to dig out my MP3 Player again and try to reformat it and see if I can get it working again. It keeps on freezing up when I play songs. I'm wondering if some of the files are corrupted or perhaps just need reformatting for the device to work? I'm geeked and I'm going to try to figure that out now!

I thought so too. I'm having trouble with my MP3 player. Apparently it's not recognizing the driver. Tried to uninstall it and reinstall the newest one but something isn't working still. Making me mad.

Hello everyone! What are we talking about?

Oh I was rummaging in the Walmart clearance isle and picked up some weird music toy I had my eye on for $2. It's cute. I got to try it out with one of my stepkid's MP3 players. I found out what was wrong with my MP3 player too - the connector is badly corroded. Called Sony and some small little piece of plastic is like $50 to replace. I'm gonna try radioshack and see if they have a knock off brand for half that price...

Go figure. All electronics have some part that needs to be replaced and is usually never under $20. Was the toy an idog or something like that?

It's kind of like that. It has a visual mode where the thing will put on a light show to the music. It's kind of like a dance game for your fingers and you can plug it into your MP3 player and play the game to the music.

Sounds fun! I am so glad it is the weekend. I just finished two weeks of H -E- double hockey sticks.

I was required to take a class for a second time because my school required it. It is a phonics class and the first time you take it it is like a foreign language. Then you are expected to teach it to kids! You take it a second time to pick up the stuff you missed the last time and it all makes sense because you have been teaching it all this time. There were only three repeat people and the rest of the group were new. It dragged and dragged. That isn't the half of it. We had to do presentations and be the teacher. Some people were so bad, that it seemed they didn't even prepare. It was torture.

That doesn't sound like fun at all! What a drag, but at least it's over! Yay for the weekend!

I wish my Ipod plugged directly into my car stero..But I have an older car...So no such luck..
