@kitty:  So, how are you today? :P

Lore 10-16-2009 02:37 AM

I just barely made it into the group! I'm nineteen. Not quite ready for a walker with tennis ball feet quite yet, but I think I'm qualified enough.

C: Anyway! Hello. Please excuse me if I'm a little awkward at first. I've lost my Mene-social grace since taking my exceedingly long hiatus. Hopefully you guys won't mind letting me work out some of the rust.

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 02:38 AM

Dimi: I'm pretty good =]
I think by tomorrow the wireless thinggie that my bf is playing with to boost the signal through the rest of the house will be ready, and i will not have so much connection issues in my room. which is great -is totally hogging his computer cause i can-

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-16-2009 02:40 AM

@Lore: Hey there. How're you doing tonight?

@kitty: Cool! Strong connections rock  :P

@Nao: You could say that, yes. :P

Lore 10-16-2009 02:41 AM

@Dimitri: Pretty good, pretty good~ A little sore, but not bad. cx Can't wait till this weekend though, I'm hanging out with some people.. which doesn't sound like much, but that's awesome for me since I've been at home all week.

o v o And how are you, good sir?

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 02:44 AM

Dimi: well yeah, and a lot less frustraiting lol. I'm tired of being booted off the internet cause the signal being too weak.

Sunlit.rains 10-16-2009 02:45 AM

saihffsio8ireh <--- noise of frustration and rage. Some days I don't know if I'll survive living with my parents much longer. (or if they will)

Lore 10-16-2009 02:46 AM

Eep. I know that feeling a little too well, Sun. x: What's your parents' defect?

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 02:48 AM

Sun: thus, why i moved out xD and now, i live with someone else's parents, though, it's really a lot easier than living with mine was. Considering it's a.]not "where are you going why are you here and do this for me please" all day every day and b.] his mom and gran are a lot more supportive than my parents were

Naoto-chan22 10-16-2009 02:49 AM

Dimi: sorry but we have a little problem we live far away so i can't help that "friend" of yours :(

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-16-2009 02:49 AM

@Lore: Sore? Why is that? Hanging out with friends is always fun.

I'm doing alright, for having worked about 9.5 hours today. Now I'm just relaxing and listening to music while I hang out here. I'll be doing even better tomorrow, since I have the day off from work. :boogie:

@kitty: About the only time I had to deal with that was when I was in an area with a weak signal when I was trucking. It sucked horribly. Sometimes, the signal would be so bad it was like having dial-up again. :XP

@Sun:  Wow, I don't think I've heard words like that coming out of your mouth before. Everything ok?

@Nao: You've got a point there... I guess I'm just going to hire you as a maid and have you relocate here, huh? :P

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 02:51 AM

Dimi: i'm just on the like far end of the house, and i get a better signal from the neighbor so generally tend to use theirs instead, but when this is done i should get a great signal, and like have no problems. but for now, using my bf's computer is not a bad thing, it's got a double screen thing going on and i can like be on here in one and on gaia in the other lol and not have to go in between tabs and such

Sunlit.rains 10-16-2009 02:52 AM

Lore: Hi there and welcome *just went and saw you introduce yourself* They're just controlling and ridiculous and naggy. I just had a huge fight with my dad over literally nothing. arg! *strangles pillow*

<.< I'm not normally this angry, I promise.

Kitty: Yeah. Sadly I don't really have the money to move out. Plus I need to finish some schooling before I even thing about it. They're very very supportive about the things they want to be supportive about. But as soon as it's something they don't like they're shooting it down with flaming arrows.

Edit:

Dimi: I'm not typically an overly angry person, but when I spend an hour fighting with my dad over....I don't even know what the argument was about. He was trying to figure out why the tv wasn't recording something it was supposed to. I tried to explain it. He tells me I'm wrong (when I know I'm not because I understand the technology better). I tell him, here I'll show you how to fix it. He insists he can do it. I leave him alone for a bit, but there's only so long I can sit there and watch him struggle with it, then I tell him where he should go to record it and he ignores me. This is actually something that's started a fight many many many times over. It always starts with him ignoring me and me being annoyed because all I'm trying to do is help and then all these other issues get dragged up. arg.

Lore 10-16-2009 02:53 AM

@Dimitri: I had a small operation on my arm yesterday. Nothing too serious or anything, just a small girly thing. They put a little plastic piece in my arm about as thick as a pencil ( but much shorter! ) and needless to say.. xD It's a bit tender still. I hafta keep these bandages on for three days too! ( without getting them wet, that is. I had to wrap my arm in a plastic bag to shower! )

Grats on the day off, especially after working nearly 10 hours. O: Spend all night on the computer, sleep a good part of the day and laze around for the rest of your time! Best way to spend a day off.

@Sun: > 3 < Controlling parents can't be any fun, I imagine. I, for one, vote for moving out if you've got somewhere to go. After all, it's not like you're gonna live there for ever. And it's not productive for ANYONE to fight over nothing.

Naoto-chan22 10-16-2009 02:54 AM

 Sun why are you angry???

Dimi: yes I'll come as long as i can bring my doggy and you pay me well:p

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 02:55 AM

Sun: I know how that is, my mom n dad are the same way, i didn't have the money either, nor did i finish the schooling, but living there put me into sever depression, and it just wasn't healthy for me. I have been so much happier since i've been out, cept for a small bit while in NC but that was only a very small bit of time and here, is totally wonderful. I'ma be sad when pam and josh move out but they're supposedly still going to be close and it won't be for a while.

Naoto-chan22 10-16-2009 02:58 AM

My mom's a hippie so really she lets me screw up my life if i want...which is not as good as it sounds!!

Sunlit.rains 10-16-2009 03:00 AM

All: see above edited post for how the fight started which is half of why I'm frustrated

Lore: I in theory could go live with a friend of mine and her mom. But I know in the end it would destroy our friendship because she's SUPER controlling of anything in "her turf.

Kitty: I'm hoping I can get out soon. I'm not really depressed luckily, cause if I was I would make a point of it. I know my parents love me so I don't really want to cut ties with them either. I'm planning to stick it out for another year.

Edit:
Naoto: yeah I have friends with parents like that. They're not too terribly fond of it sometimes but over all they seem to like it.

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-16-2009 03:01 AM

@kitty: That sounds like an interesting setup your bf has.

@Lore: Oh, one of those things. Is that the one that you have to do every few months, or is it the one that lasts a year?
I wish I could laze around all day, but I have errands I have to take care of tomorrow. After I get them taken care of, though, the rest of the day is mine to spend as I see fit. :P

@Nao: Hmm, I suppose that depends on what you're expecting for payment. ;) :P

shaddowkitty 10-16-2009 03:04 AM

Dimi: he also has like super computer where as i have, really shitty old computer lolz
but it's ok i don't mind. I mean i'd love a nice beefy computer to play games and such on, but for now i'm fine with being stuck to the interweb basics.

Sun: well it's not that they don't love me or that i've cut ties, i mean now that i'm gone me and my mom have a great relationship
and my dad i've never really had such a great relationship anyway considering he wasn't really there after the split and whatnot but i talk to him more now after i've lived there for like a month lol.

Lore 10-16-2009 03:04 AM

@Dimitri: 8D This one actually lasts for five years! I don't have to worry about it for FOREVER.

Naoto-chan22 10-16-2009 03:06 AM

Dimi:whatever i need when i need it whether it be food sex money clothes...

Sunlit.rains 10-16-2009 03:06 AM

Kitty: my trouble is, if I move out before they think I'm ready to, they'll take it as some sort of personal thing and it'll become a big issue *sigh*

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-16-2009 03:13 AM

@kitty: The next comp I build is going to be fairly beefy, at the least. I'm thinking about going with a quad-core CPU for starters. At least 5 gig of RAM. I haven't really decided on a video card or motherboard yet, but I want my sound card to be 7.1 and I'm planning on having at least 2 1ter hard drives.

@Lore: Oh, wow. Wouldn't it be kinda hard to remember when the 5 years is almost up, though? Or do you make yourself some kind of reminder or something?

@Nao:  I thought all that was pretty much a given? :P
