Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 08:30 PM

Ivvy 10-12-2009 09:26 PM

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 09:38 PM

Have fun ;D <33

I LOVE this movie (Apocolypto) <3
I always cry during though :gonk:

Ivvy 10-12-2009 09:47 PM

Ahh I am looking at making paper quilled snowflakes for decoration. That way me and the bridesmaids can make them all. :) And save some money. >.< Its so neat of a craft.

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 09:56 PM

Paper quilled snowflakes?
Those sound cute - what do they look like?
Are they made on a parchment type paper or something?
-has never heard of them-

Ivvy 10-12-2009 10:06 PM

google paper quilled snowflakes and you will see them. :) They are made out of curling cardstock. And they look amazing when you finish them with iredesent glitter. :)

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 10:09 PM

Ooo!
Those are really pretty!
And look really fun to make <33
Good luck Ivvy-chan! <33

Ivvy 10-12-2009 10:15 PM

Thanks.. I am going to be all crazy lady before I have made them all..lol All that small work and over and over.. but it will look awesome I think. And they could double as favors to send home with the guests.

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 10:19 PM

And hey!
You can say you actually made things for your wedding; not just bought things :3
That's more than A LOT of people can say :3
And if you do sent them home - they'll be gifts YOU made; not bought :3 <33
People will surely appreciate them more - which is totally worth making them :3

Ivvy 10-12-2009 10:31 PM

:D We are a lot alike I think. :) And I know I will have fun making them with my bridesmaids..lol

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 10:37 PM

Lol~
I think so too :3

I'm sure you will! <3
Is there any particular design you're going to do? Or is it going to be a mix of sizes / designs?

Ivvy 10-12-2009 11:35 PM

I think I am going to make them all a little different to keep with the true snowflake vibe. :)

Emma Corrin 10-12-2009 11:43 PM

I was going to suggest that if you weren't lol
I think having some the same (for sanity's sake) is nice; but I think mixing it up a bit would make it less monotonous for you, ya know?
And it would be a surprise for the guests <3

Ivvy 10-13-2009 12:16 AM

yeah I think what I will do for the gift ones is make them all and have a christmas tree in the reception hall covered in them and you pick one off of the tree before you leave. :)

Emma Corrin 10-13-2009 01:04 AM

Ooo~
I like that!
That's a really cute idea :3

AND YAY!
You're nearly to 20k!! <33

Ivvy 10-13-2009 01:05 AM

Wow I am almost there. >.< Err I am looking up corsets on ebay for halloween now..lol

Emma Corrin 10-13-2009 01:08 AM

Lol!
Luckyyy~
I can't dress up for Halloween 'cause I don't have a costume T_T
If you find a semi-cheap one; and something that I could use for Halloween to go with it; link me? <3

Ivvy 10-13-2009 01:25 AM

Well I am finding awesome corsets for under $20 so I think it could be doable with a simple fairy tale costume. You know a skirt and a corset in the right color.. it would be cheap. :) here are some corset links. :)

the first could be like the red queen
the second could work into an alice in wonderland
the third could be a sexy female tin man paired with some stonewashed jeans and silver paint some silver makeup ya know. :)

Emma Corrin 10-13-2009 01:34 AM

Ooo~
I like the 2nd two corsets the most; but the blue one the best :3

I'll see if I can talk my mom into it :3 <3

I was hoping to be the Queen of Hearts for Halloween - using the Hot Topic one; but it was too expensive :gonk:

Ivvy 10-13-2009 01:38 AM

I like the blue one as well..lol Humm I will look for one that is fitting to the queen of hearts. :) And see what I can find for you . :) In the meantime I found this.. it would make a cute witch costume if you added a hat. :)

this one could be used as a red queen of hearts if you added the right accessories. :)

Emma Corrin 10-13-2009 02:00 AM

Oo~
I like both!

And I can't get a costume at all T_T
Mom says it's a waste of money when I could use it to buy new clothes when I go to the mall for a school trip (we're going to see a play, then shopping after) :/

Ivvy 10-13-2009 02:06 AM

Aww I am sorry. :( I wish I could help.

Emma Corrin 10-13-2009 02:07 AM

-snugs-
It's no big~
It's not like I had a costume party to go to or anything :/
Ah well; I'll just get one next year; if I'm lucky :3

Ivvy 10-13-2009 03:16 AM

Aww okay then. I am trying to decide between alice in wonderland snow white and little red riding hood. :)
