@Echo I'm not much of a religious person myself, but I think the holidays can be fun. Day off from work or free stuff is always a plus for me ^^ Oh, I got the hair. I looked like I was about to tip over

Time off from school and work is always fun and I guess holidays do break up the monotony of life, but it just seems like they're far more work than they're worth for me. You'd think it funny that I just said that yet the one holiday I completely adore, XMas, is the most work of all! I just love all the decorations though. I love a pretty, lit up tree and just sitting there watching the lights in a dim room. I especially love the fade effect on the lights, where one color will fade in while another fades out.

Glad you got the hair! I'm trying to imagine you with the outfit you have and that hair and I can see almost see you in my mind-you probably would look quite "tipsy" with all that wild, blowing hair on top with the slim look of the rest of you outfit.

I'm truly a thread killer. I post something and no one ever posts after me. This is why I no longer post on Gaia. I guess its a gift. I'm hoping that being here on Menewsha will help me turn my thread killer thumb into a 'green' thumb of growth. See, saying stupid stuff like this will kill the thread! What's wrong with me!!!!! ha, ha.

Have no fear here! I'm pretty confidant at this point that THIS thread won't completely die or be killed by anyone. As Chan said, there's a few of use that regularly check in. Join in and be one of us-assimilate !

Hello~ I am back tonight~ Playing some games on Facebook. owo I should really do my homework, haha!

Renee the Rabid Squirrel 02-08-2010 06:14 PM

Oooh, I love Valentine's Day! I make it my personal mission to enjoy V-Day every year whether I'm single or in a relationship. Either way, I buy chocolate, and lots of it, and make valentines for my friends and family and get presents for them and stuff. I make Valentine's about the people I love - who I extend to my friends family and significant others, not just the people I want to hump. :XD

Yeah, someone said I looked like I was about to tip over. I'm in this thread where you say what comes to mind when you see the avatar of the person above you. Everyone keeps saying I look like an exotic dancer or a stripper with her bow on backwards. It makes me sad.

I've always been single on Valentines day. So I suppose I'm a little bitter. The only Valentines I ever got were the mandatory ones in elementary school :| No one likes me :(

Renee the Rabid Squirrel 02-09-2010 05:04 AM

Aww, well I've always been single on Valentine's Day except for the last two years, but I just outright refused to let it get me down. I was like 'fuck you commercial sex holiday, I'm getting a gift for my mother and eating chocolate!' :XD

Lol. I have some dark chocolate somewhere... My parents would send me and my sisters valentines through the mail when we were younger ^^

Infinitys Echo 02-10-2010 04:06 AM

I'm glad you guys enjoy it (Valentine's Day) so much. It's just not my thing. Only XMas is near and dear to my heart, for all the decorations, beauty, and overall happiness I see in people. People are getting worse and worse through the years, but XMas DOES seem to bring out the best in them, and I like that.

True, but it can also bring out the worst in people. Particularly when shopping or traveling. I like the feeling of christmas and looking at the tree while it's lit up at night, giving andd receiving gifts, but it's so high tension. What to buy for who and people being rude, plus having to deal with the pressure of being happier than I am... I have mixed emotions about christmas XD

Infinitys Echo 02-10-2010 05:23 AM

Oh, the pressure of shopping IS horrible. That's the part I hate.

Renee the Rabid Squirrel 02-10-2010 07:08 AM

I love the shopping! Except when people are ungrateful or don't appreciate what I've done. But that's not shopping's fault - that's their fault for being ass-tarded. If they're going to be snotty bitches about it, then next year they get cheap gifts and I don't try. But I just really appreciate the challenge and joy of going bargain hunting and trying to get everyone something awesome and wonderful and unique.

Infinitys Echo 02-10-2010 07:33 AM

I suck at creativity and coming up with new ideas. Give me a list with exactly what's needed and I can do it quickly and efficiently. Otherwise, forget it. I'm also not the kind that likes to browse and really "shop". To me, shopping is a task that's to be done as quickly and painlessly as possible. So that makes it even harder. Then add in that unless the thing I'm shopping for is very specific, it can take me a very long time to decide exactly what I want. For example, I wanted a new sink for my kitchen. I knew I wanted certain things about it. I stood for over an hour staring at the same sinks at the store trying to decide which one I'd buy. Mostly because they didn't have EXACTLY what I wanted. Lastly, add in that I get a headache just thinking of the money that I'm going to have to shell out for my parcels. Soooo, what that all means is that I HATE shopping.

xnozomichanx 02-10-2010 03:58 PM

Tell me about it. I spent 40 minutes looking at birthday cards for my mother yesterday. I think I wouldn't mind shopping so much if people weren't rude and pushy, the stores weren't filled to the max, and that money wouldn't be a problem. I always seem to be unemployed around Thanksgiving and Christmas :/

Infinitys Echo 02-11-2010 04:18 AM

Yes, Yes, the event has started! Now to find the threads I want to stick to.

Thinking Like Whatever 02-11-2010 04:20 AM

Unfortunately. :(

Infinitys Echo 02-11-2010 04:51 AM

You don't like events, Whatever?

xnozomichanx 02-11-2010 02:29 PM

Oo the event is here. What do they have to offer?

Infinitys Echo 02-11-2010 11:06 PM

Well, we're collecting hearts this time. The event rares don't start coming out until the 12th (Friday). There are several ways to get your hearts so it's not too bad, though I wish you got a little more for posting.

xnozomichanx 02-12-2010 02:24 AM

Yeah but I'm not a very social person :/

Infinitys Echo 02-12-2010 02:34 AM

I don't like jumping right in much either. But it's not too hard to do on here during an event. I feel more comfortable during events.

xnozomichanx 02-12-2010 03:31 AM

I always feel like I'm just watching everyone from a distance...alienated really

Infinitys Echo 02-12-2010 03:49 AM

Aww.....Well don't feel like that here. I like sticking to myself as well, but it just seems so much easier during events.

xnozomichanx 02-13-2010 02:58 AM

The passing traveler effect I suppose ^^

Infinitys Echo 02-13-2010 06:23 AM

How's it going for you during the event, Chan? If you feel awkward joining a strange thread, you can come into mine. It doesn't move way too fast and I'm there mostly in the evening. Well, tonight I went missing in action because of the snow and trying to set up a web cam. The link's in my siggie.

xnozomichanx 02-13-2010 03:28 PM

I think I will ^^ thanks
The event is slow for me so far, you?
