I'm doing alright! I'm waiting to hear back on a job interview I had and not really sure which way I want it to go. I have therapy later today and right now the little one is taking a nap so I get a chance to be online uninterrupted.

yeah, he's an hour and a half away, but he loves driving, and feels bad if I have to drive down. But he's such a good man, and I am so very lucky to have found him ^^

I've been there before. An hour and a half isn't so bad. It's close enough you can visit on a regular basis. :)

*nod* I've had a relationship or two like that as well Renee. Ultimately they didn't work out but it wasn't because of the distance with both of them.

Funny that it would prolong the relationship. I think I like LDRs better myself but I have a partner that I live with. I'd be happy if I could find a second partner that was okay with LDR. (My partner and I are polyamorous, it's normal for us to have other people we're involved with.)

All of my relationships have been long distance. I actually dated a guy who lives in the same area as my boyfriend does, but he never came to me, I had to drive down all the time, I gave a lot and got shit in return, on a much larger scale than you may imagine. But now, it feels right, in a new way, this isn't a crash and burn love, it's a sweet and kind and slow love and.... god I love him, and he loves me, and for the most part, all is right with the world. <3

How did you and your current beau meet?

When I first met him, it was about 4 years ago at a farewell party some of my friends threw for me when I moved out of the area, and he's my friend's older brother. We didn't talk much at the party ^^ But I met him again in January because my friend was getting married, so all of the girls went bridesmaid dress shopping, and the males went tux shopping =3 and we started talking after that on fb and we "hung out" until his sister got us both to admit that we liked eachother, (we were rather hesitant about it ^^; ) so now we are dating. though it turns out he's had an interest in me since that party, he's just shy and over thinks things sometimes and didn't know how to contact me either ^^; he's such a sweetheart <3
