"Mmm, brainssss..." says the thread. They all looked on in horror as the thread consumed another brain.. and soul.

The event hasn't taken place. I'm getting impatient waiting for it. *impatiently taps her foot on the ground* C'mon admins! Let's get this show started already!

It's Celes Paradi and has something to do with three goddesses. Other than that I don't know because I've never seen this event before - I'm too new to the site.

Celes paradi was before the Phoenix Jubilee I believe ^^ Everyone pledged allegience to a goddess, I was aligned to the one associated with food and cooking. Other people did dance and something else... o.Q?; can't remember what though XD

Hm, that's odd because Mr. Mayor had a post over in the Menewsha Nations about some goddesses and beguiling them. *wonders what's going on, if anything*
If nothing else, we have the Halloween event to look forward to!

well, my calender says first day of autumn, columbus day, and united nations day :shrugs: one for autumn would be nice, get fall colored clothes and the like :3 maybe a parasol made of red, orange and yellow leaves would be nice :)

Inso had said in a thread that we'd have an event within 15 days but I'm not sure if we're still in that time period. I'm in a conundrum because there are items I want to buy but I want to save my gold for the event for the discounted items.

I would save it, because those items will still be there after the event (if you want shop items that is) but the event items won't be that cheap ever again. That's what I would do at least :)

Yeah, you're right about that. It's more important to get the EIs than it is the shop items. Still it's tempting to spend my gold.

It's less tempting to spend gold when you only have a little, at least, that's how I am. :D
But putting gold aside, how are you?

I've been feeling a little anxious here lately. There's a possibility my partner will be getting a new job and it'll require us to move about an hour from where we live already into a strange and unknown town.

I know how that sucks, my father had us move twice so he could be closer to his job. we moved first when he worked at greene tweed, then he worked for tyco, and then we moved again for when he started working at greene tweed again :/ I am so tired of moving. now i don't knwo the full situation, but what if you moved 30 minutes away, and that would cut on the commute but still keep you closer to home?

We have a choice between moving 45 minutes away into a town that we're familiar with and my partner having a 15 minute commute but the rent will be noticeably higher or we can make the full move to the job site and have noticeably lower rent in a strange town.

ouch. that's tough. but if you move to the new town, it could be like a fresh start, depending on how you like at things ^^
