It will be cool that the planets align but i don't think the world will end. I don't think the end of the world can be predicted.

Bah, I don't believe all the hype about 2012. I think, if anything, we'll either start a new calendar, like when they went from BC to AD, or the calendar makers got tired. They figured (correctly) that they and their version of civilization would be long dead by then, so why bother continuing a calendar that no one would look at.

Ya, I think that they just decided to stop, I mean you have to stop sometime, you cant keep drawing a calender forever.
