Yea I swear seriously we're THE food thread!
WTF is Williams & Sonoma sauce? I thought they were a furniture company... |
I can't eat the sausages anymore. They're greasy and salty and I absolutely despite fennel seed! Ugh! And of course fennel seed is in sausages and pasta sauce. I can't stand it! I'm constantly taking those nasty little pods out of my mouth and cursing the people who put them into food. If you're going to put them in there, at least grind the little buggers up! :illgetu: Damn you fennel seed!
@Mar-Mar - That's what you get for thinking! Williams and Sonoma is only one of the biggest fanciest cooking supply store that they shove into strip malls XD They sell a lot of expensive cooking and baking equipment and various food products. |
Well that sucks. xD
I don't get stuff like that in pasta sauce... most of the time we make it ourselves. I  Worcestershire Sauce, it makes the tomatoes taste better in their saucey goodness. Damn the blight!!!!! </3 |
We tend to open up a jar of sauce around here and then add our own spices. Some of the fancier jars that my mom buys will have fennel in them and I've been to restaurants where I take a bite of something with marinara and get a mouthful of fennel seeds. But the place that happened was just awful all around! The thing I ordered came out completely differently from what the menu said. And they dumped a bunch of fried potatoes in the fennely marinara and called it a side dish. Ugh. One of the worst meals ever.
@Mar-Mar - Oh boy, I sense another disturbance in the |
Awww yuck That is ultra fudged up!!
|
@Candy - It was one of the worst meals ever. But then my Nana, who took us to that place, has terrible taste in food! She'll take us somewhere and go "The food here is really good!" And it's always mediocre at best and truly awful at worst. I've eaten many a terribly bland or just plain terrible meal with her. Oh Nana -_-
|
Cookie: *takes lightsaber out* I have a baaaad feeling about this.
Oh so THAT'S why I know Williams and Sonoma. Are they featured in Crate&Barrel?? Because I was there three days ago or so. If so, then their stuff must be super expensive. |
@Mar-Mar - Did you turn the crazy magnet on on the RP?
Williams and Sonoma is very pricey! I don't know about any association with Crate and Barrel, but they are very expensive. They make a lot of cute stuff though! I always want to buy things when I go in there! But I hold back. I don't cook enough now to own that many neat kitchen gadgets. |
No! Is she the mule of the other girl or what? I think she just wants a job because she PMed me her application - so then I told her we weren't hiring because we're trying to get people to be customers first until we grow. I mean shoot we do have a lot of people...you know what I'm changing the character profiles thing right now.
|
She should at least play with us for a bit before trying to strong arm her way onto the staff. We have more staff than customers!
|
I'm a customer trying to work my way into the staff. ^-^
I like being a customer.... but being staff seems like it would be cool too. xD |
I know! I only put up the fact that we need ONE more of a chef, waiter, and barista each right now...gah, and the majority of people that want in want to be a waitress!
Either way you needa pop out or something since that new girl's looking for you. But I highly, HIGHLY agree with you, we need more people acting as customers OR posting regularly in here because helloooooo...priority for jobs goes to our REGULARS here!! Anyway brb for an hour or so I need to buy a romance novel because I have a 40% off coupon and today's the last day to use it. And I would consider Candy as being part of our staff too since we know her well enough! WHAT JOB DO YOU WANT?? |
And we love you for it Candypants *huggles*
@Mar-Mar - The trials and tribulations of running a cafe XD I'm not sure I wanna pop out. I might want to stay in my office and look at porn. :insane: Have fun! |
I can do whatever is needed, waitress was my first choice but another chef is fine too. Where ever you need be is where I can go. ^-^
*ish huggled* *huggles back* |
Okay yeah it'll probably be more than an hour that I'll be gone, depending on how long my mom needs to use the computer. *hugtackleglomps Candy and Cookie*
|
*is huggled and hugtackleglomped* O_O So much loving, and some of it is scary :poke:
|
*is huggletackleglomped*
*glomphuggletackles Mar* Soo Goodnight for now Mar? xD I love that icon Cookie. |
@Candy - Yeah, Mene has some really cute little smilie guys. :squee:
|
Speaking of the Cafe, reserve a Barista slot for me. ;O
I'm trying to think of a character, but this week is a bit busy, so I may need until Friday-ish until I finally get around to it. xD |
Being busy sucks sooo much </3
|
Being busy is FAIL. D;
I'm not necessarily UBER busy, it's just that there's going to be a lot on my mind, and I don't want to overwhelm myself TOO much. xP Realistically, though, I'll probably have a character whipped up by tomorrow. But I'm not making any promises! :B |
Nice! xD
|
You know what's worse than being busy? Having too much free time on your hands. D: There's nothing to do and it's so boring.
|
our fridge broke so I had to go help look for a new one darn fridge I found a nice one I want but its a we too big
|
I agree, Oscar darling. <3~
And hello, by the way. =D How are you this fine, err... evening? Although I love having free time, I can't imagine having so much of it at this age. However, I can when I'm 40+. I'd looove to be able to retire a good 20-25 years earlier than the average person. I'd spend my days doing worthwhile stuff, though... Well, occasionally, anyway; volunteering 2-3 days out of the week... That sort of thing. Of course, I'd also do frivolous stuff - but of course, I'd be wealthy as hell if I retired at 40 (in my eyes, anyway), so of course a certain amount of frivolity is expected. P: |
