It takes a bit of practice to find the hook spot in most of the fish, xelao. Some it's rather obvious, like the tvs' hook spots are right in the middle of the crack, but others, like the octopi, it's pretty hit or miss.

I like it a lot. I like the live-feed version of the threads, the pretty art, and the fact that there don't seem to be many flamers or cyber sex junkies. It seems to be a fairly nice society with fun games, cheap items and interesting people =]

That seems to sum up what I was looking for when I joined. I used to go on Gaia a lot when I was younger, and I had a lot of friends... But then I stopped logging on. And now I want to make some new online friends, and I figured that's hard to do these days with all the internet sex stalkers and such... So, then I decided to look for a site that wasn't Gaia, but similar. I don't really like Gaia anymore at all.

Same here xD Like, almost exactly~ Plus, Gaia is so financially inflated, there are items for like... 600k that started at 20k! Here, things never get that drastic, thank god~

Oh yeah, I know what you mean about Gaian items being pricey. And it seems like it takes forever to get the amount of gold you need. Like, it has been forever since I've been on Gaia, but it seems like I am earning gold on here rather quickly. :) I haven't even looked in the shops yet, though.

Yeah, the gold system is based on how many words you type in your posts, and the games give you gold pretty fast, especially tetris and the fangirl game. Most items in the shops, from what I've seen, are only a couple hundred gold. Then again, I haven't thoroughly looked through all of them ^^; |
I've been on Gaia since the beginning. The changes are scary. I like both sites, but Gaia I mostly go to for my friends. Here, I hope to make more friends! Also enough gold to get my items ;_;

There's a program you can download, but it hasn't been updated in a while. It's in the Avatar Forum, isn't it?
