Yay for piano buddies! I don't get to play as much as I used to since I'm away at college, but I got to have a few lessons over winter break, so that makes me happy.

About... I guess about 11 years now, give or take a few months.

@chibi, My instructor is heading home for Christmas this weekend and won't be back until after I have to go back to school. ;.;

aww, poor Yami. Its overrated. I played an instrument when I was younger but I never really liked it.

Oh, I was only curious because my winter break literally started at 5 pm today.

And I played Viola.

Ew, piano lessons. *cringe* I'm currently in them, and my parents won't let me quit. The fastest way to start hating something is taking lessons for it. I used to love taking art class. In middle school I had a strict teacher, and it became far too tough in 8th grade. So now I hate art, too.

I played the flute in 6th grade... hated it....

Yea, I understand Amane. I think that's why I don't like instruments. I think it was just the teachers.

Ah, the Viola! I played the Violin when I was in the 7th grade and I didn't like the way it felt on my neck. And I played the Flute in 9th grade, and it made me lightheaded. It sometimes takes a few tries to find the instrument you like. *smiles*

@ Amane, I agree. I used to want to learn Spanish until I was forced to learn it in school.

Yeah... a lot of people dropped out of band in the early years. Once you get the hang of an instrument though, it's a lot more fun. Flute's one of the hardest when you're first starting. You have to learn really good breath control. XD

How often do you have lessons that your life has been thrown away? o.o I only had lessons once a week and it never seemed to get in the way of my life. (not that I had much of a social life before high school... and then during high school my life was band XD)

Edit: O.O You b-broke your flute?! D: *rushes to hug flute* How did you manage that?

I like the guitar but I'm tone deaf so >.> epic fail....
