@Sassy--Yep, I'm old enough to work; I'm 18. 8D And the reason I want a job is so that I will be able to buy my own things like clothes and hobby-related items (i.e. yarn), so my parents won't have to (we're kind of tight on money right now). But since it's not like I go out and spend a lot anyway, nor have I ever (in fact I can be pretty stingy), I guess it's not of highest importance... I'd just like some experience working and being responsible for my own income and how I use it, since I've been reliant on my parents all these years, and haven't had any "real world" experience outside the classroom, you know? That's how I feel about it, anyway. *Mai nods*

Or it could be that I am bored with life and I need a change... I can get that way, too. Like when I cut my own hair. O__O;;; Yeah, that was a bad idea. Fortunately, it wasn't that noticeable (so I was told, anyway). But it's not like I'm going to be going out and applying for jobs willy-nilly without considering how it would affect me, my school hours, etc, you know? :)

Ack. I can wait I guess. I just... feel like I should be taking more responsibility for things in my life now that I'm no longer a minor, am in college, and am preparing to go out into the "real world." *Mai shrugs*
