I got my first job at eleven. Where I lived you could get a waitressing job at 12, so I just lied about my age and went to work. Went pretty well until my birthday rolled around and someone asked how old I'd be. I stuck my foot in my mouth.

Hey guys I'm back for a little while, I got distracted from sleep by the fishing game..maxed out my gold.
Now I'm just waiting for a trade to go through...then I'm going to bed. |

@Sassy--yeah, I still need to get my schedule for this semester before I make any decisions about that. I think I really will go out and get a job, though--I found that last semester I had too much time on my hands and was bored and not motivated to do ANYTHING. If I get a job, I'm hoping that will give me something to do and motivate me and everything.
I might have to drop a class in order to make room for a job... we'll see. *Mai nods* Thanks, just talking it out like this has helped clarify some things for me. |
@ Aneru: This was back in '85, hun, and it was a small farm town in Kansas. back then you could also buy beer from a grocery store at 18, but not a liquor store. You also got your license at 16.

Movies like Blair witch and District 9 make me sick. I had to leave an hour into district 9 because I had motion sickness.
