I saw Mamma Mia on Broadway years before it came out in movie format. While I heavily enjoyed the movie version (I LOVE Meryl Streep), the stage performance was a lot more intimate and hilariously... human. -shrug-

@Facade - I dunno about that. Phantom has been around and been a classic for a very long time. I doubt the movie came along and slaughtered the audience numbers.

Taylor had won a VMA for best video, and she went up to accept and give a speech. She actually looked truly shocked. So, she started speaking, and got near the end, and Kayne hops onto the stage, takes the mic from Taylor, and proceeds to say how Beyonce should have won. And she looked so~~ upset, too. Like, on the verge of tears upset. Really pissed me off D<
