Yeah my dad's the same way, except it was one of his friends who brought it. My dad thought he was nuts. (lol, nice pun) He didn't shoot it or anything. It was too small to be considered food just yet.

But yeah my dad's definately a rodent killer. One time we were driving down a road and there were two groundhogs on the side. He swerved to hit them, then turned around and went to see if they were alive or not. One of them was still moving so as he turned around again he hit the groundhog(again) and I told him to keep driving. So he didn't turn around again.
Although I share his dislike of groundhogs as they eat our garden. (same with raccoons, as cute as they are they make a mess out of gardens)

OMG! Your dads sound evil!

My little brother came home the other night and stood in my doorway pouting. He's really tall, so seeing him pout is weird. And he tells me that he accidentally hit a bunny on the road! But he wasn't sure, so he stopped and went to go check on it and it was bleeding and there wasn't anything he could do so he came home to angst about it. Poor guy. My brother's so squishy.

@moi: Well I like meat. ^_^ So that doesn't bother me much. And up here you kinda have to eat it. (mostly for the fat thing) It's cause it gets rather cold up here(over here?) and it's healthier to eat animal fat than whatever fat is in that junk food. >_>
