It made me sad that the English changed his name from Yuugi to Yugi. D| Yuugi means "game" (or friendly/friendly relations). Yugi means "a quiver of arrows". :/ He was named Yuugi for a reason. Of course, they changed almost every single name in that entire series, too, so. >>; A lot of stuff was lost.

Also, "Yuugiou" means "Game King". xD It's not some person's name, haha. I also didn't like that they took away most of the entire underlying plot by giving the other Yuugi a name ("Yu-Gi-Oh"). THE WHOLE POINT WAS FOR HIM TO FIND HIS NAME. xD
