There are a few from Gaia who're pretty nice though, I think a lot of users are coming over because they all got sick of the way Gaia is being run these days. At least, that's how I ended up here...:sweat:

I don't even remember what made me sign up for a Mene account many moons ago. But Events bring me back. After Celes Paradi I had so much fun I just stayed :D

I have plenty of gripes about Gaia, but I still stick around for various reasons even if it's gone down the shitter. =/

@Luna - Yeah, not tasty at all. Now I have the urge to get a whip out! Although, I feel a need to use it on some of my regular thread goers first strangely enough.

I went on gaia quite a while ago, but I never got into it and didn't really enjoy it. They seemed too intimidating and confusing. I found this by searching for an avatar community site. I'd been on other ones, but I wanted to see what else there was. This was the first on the list and I saw it and I loved it straight away.

It took me a while to find Menewsha, actually > w >
And it was Magnus that got me to join, in the end, because he looked so much like Rude from FFVII that I just couldn't resist! XD
I found some others, like Roliana and Avaricia, but they seemed to be too large and I didn't want that...I like it nice and quiet and peaceful, for the most part :P

I thought Roliana was more quiet than menewsha? Or is it more busy?

Only avatar sites I've ever joined were Gaia and Mene = w = Been on a lot of other forums, but they don't have avatars that we can dress up there, just a small icon to represent you.

@Fading again - I've been on Gaia since '03. I had a long period of absence though before I really got active, so I missed a lot of those classic events. Not that it matters anymore since a lot of those older items aren't worth crap now with the realease of the cash shop and evolving items. Items from the random item generators are now worth more than classic '03 items -_-;

I joined Menewsha sometime in '07. Like I said, I don't even remember how I got here, but it is a nice place :heart:

I think the most expensive item I've ever got was a Kiki, whom a friend of mine 'traded' to me in exchange for my Nitemare Headband. A really unfair trade, really, since my Headband was only worth 600k (at that time, it later dropped down to 200k) and his Kiki was well over 800k. (again, at that time...it later also dropped to around 400k I think)

Not that it mattered, since we both got banned and the items gone.

I definitely love Mene more than I loved Gaia XD I was obsessed with Gaia for a while after first joining, but after a few months it just...started to go downhill for me. I'd go onto random month-long hiatuses, and everytime I went back my enthusiasm dropped a notch further. Finally a few important straws snapped when I got into a fight with a couple of good friends, and I left. And now that I think back on it, I certainly am glad that I left, or I would've never found Menewsha. <333

That's how I am with Gaia all the time. My attention span there really varies. It's the same here for Mene. I'm in a very active streak right now. Hopefully, I'll stay this way for a while. I'm having fun :D
