Poisonous maple syrup...fun times! I was just cleaning out our cabinets in the kitchen. My mother hoards things like a psychotic magpie. I found a bottle of cherry syrup in the cabinet that expired in 1998. That means it was bought far before that. Plus we moved to Scotland in 1997, so that means the bottle made the trip to Scotland with us! We moved back to the US in 1999, so the bottle traveled back from Scotland and has been in the cabinet ever since! D:

Straws always help, as Cookie has undoubtedly pointed out! :B~

@Cookie: Perhaps it's your mother's way of remembering what a disappointing pain in the ass Scotland turned out to be? (:
