@Kitty - Ah. I see. Cause he was really popular when I was younger. I had a bunch of his books way back when. So he's sort of a figure of nostalgia.

i have not heard of him tell i saw the books.

Christoper Pike was popular back when R.L. Stein was big in the early 90s. He fit into that teen horror genre. I preferred him over R.L. Stein. Stein's books were a bit scarier/gorier. But Pike's were just better written, not just shock horror. The only thing I didn't like about his books was that they tended to cut out his name in the book cover and when you'd put it on the shelf, some of the parts of the cover would get bent back x_x

ah. i needed new books to read and they look good.
