i know our class had to do a stupid science fair project again (yes in like high school >.>)
and the moment it was assigned i swear she was finished
while i just made a stupid model of an avalanche... (i just made my grade 6 project again XD)

I think a proxy is a program of some sort that changes your IP address around randomly so that it can't be traced back to your real one...I'm not sure what it is either, though it's been mentioned to me before. :sweat:

Our school bans some of the sites, but unfortunately Mandarin being our national language, they only banned the websites that were in Chinese, and failed to block out the ones in English...found some reeeeally interesting websites if you type in 'hentai' on Google. :lol:

A proxy is a IP masking website that allows you to bypass firewalls.
So, you can get on blocked websites like youtube/myspace/facebook/ and, in your case, wikipedia.
We used them a LOT in High School.

Lol. I put a gameboy advance emulator and Super Nintendo EMU in the public folder so that all the kids could use them.
That and firefox.
One of my classes was full of kids playing video games during class.
It was amazing.

thats the same with our class except we're in canada... and we're just normally tipping up our textbooks and enjoying a novel.. or doodling while our teacher is babbling on although i tend to do this more in french when he's screaming at the girls at the other end of the class XD

Haha, we usually draw or scribble random pieces of fiction in our notebooks during class, it's less obvious than manga...back in high school there were always those teachers patrolling the corridors and they're always looking in through the windows to see if we were reading any out of class books under the table or texting. We've been caught a few times and it was no fun at all, especially when the book wasn't even ours to begin with. >_> So in the end we just drew or scribbled...at least it's safer and those patrolling teachers rarely nab those. :P
