I rarely go to anime cons...too scary. The last one I went to was PACKED, and I could barely move within the crowd D: I saw a cool Cloud with all seven swords from the 1st Tsurugi though, which was awesome :3

I enjoy the picture-taking most xD I love hunting for good cosplays. Shopping isn't that appealing to me because they're nearly always so expensive and I don't have that much money to splurge >_>;;

@Fading - Even when I bring a camera, I hardly take any pictures at all. I hate pulling people over to ask for pictures. =P I like to by fun anime things. It is expensive, but it's the only time I do it. I'm not one of those super con-goers. I only go to one or two a year. None this year though. I missed both the local conventions and I can't go to my usual one ;_;

It's always best to find real life friend to go with you. One who isn't a compulsive liar is good. That reminds me of a story.

A friend of mine went to New York City to visit another friend. But she was afraid to go alone, so she dragged alone someone else, who turned out to be insane and stupid. The stupid girl decided that she was going to go to Otakon, in Baltimore, Maryland, for one day to see a concert. But she just assumed, very stupidly, that it would only take her an hour to get from NY, NY to Baltimore, Maryland. It took far longer. So she gets to the con, gets in and goes to find her friends because she assumed the concert would be at night. Well it wasn't. She ended up completely missing the concert she went to see and had to pay separately for. Then she was too late to even go to the dealer's room. She ended up spending the night on the floor of a hotel room. Then she lost her credit card and had to cancel it. She went back to New York the next day but she'd canceled her hostel room because she was too cheap to hold the $30 room overnight. So then she had to shove herself into my friend's room, which was a single in a different hostel. And why they were in different hostels is a whole other story.

And in the end, the stupid girl doesn't even like anime. She's just a poser who pretends to like it so people will like her. The things people do to be liked *shakes head*

The best thing about conventions is the shopping - and the food x3 Mmmm, overpriced pocky. The people can be a little scary... but there are nice people as well ^^

@Knitted - I do like the shopping. The thing I like about going to Yaoi-Con, which is in San Francisco, California, is that it's in San Francisco. Because San Francisco has a little Japantown full of Japanese shops and restaurants. So you can get the most awesome Japanese food there and buy a whole bunch of other neat stuff. They have a really awesome dollar store there that you can get crazy kitchen gadgets and candy and bowls and bento boxes and shampoo, just all sorts of stuff from! I'm going to miss going there to eat some okonomiyaki ;_;

Oooh, I missed your story. That was a eep-y story; it must've made for a hell of a road trip x3

MCM is in London, which luckily isn't too far (relatively speaking) from Exeter, so I could day trip or book some overnight accomodation.

Well, I added the story in after. I'm just glad I didn't have to deal with it.
