sounds yummy

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 07:51 AM

They're very yummy! I decided to make them after I watched Unwrapped with my mom and they were showing how they make Rice Krispy treats in the factory. The guy said "We make them just like you make them at home." And I was all "NO! You don't!" Cause I think the pre-made ones taste like crap! They make me gag they're so gross. x_x So I made the good kind that you can only make at home with real butter and real marshmallows! Yummy! :D

Marguerite Blakeney 08-27-2009 07:55 AM

Hi, my cookie!!! *hugs*

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 07:58 AM

Mar-Mar! *glomps* Hi! How are you?

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:01 AM

I like them both ways:sweat:

of course I gets no love

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:07 AM

Awww *hugs cuppy*

I just don't like them pre-made. The show said they used margarine and marshmallows to make theirs. I always use butter. If you want to make something right, you need to use butter for that nice rich yummyness. They probably also use cheap marshmallows. Ew.

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:10 AM

gasp cheap marshymellows are nasty

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:13 AM

Cheap doesn't always mean bad, but there are some things you just don't want to skimp on. When I bake, I always use good ingredients and real butter. You'll never find margarine in my cookies!:talk2hand:

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:15 AM

if the recipe calls for it we use it

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:18 AM

A lot of recipes these days will say a certain amount of butter or margarine. Always reach for the butter. Your tastebuds will thank you XD

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:22 AM

but it was for drop cookies butter would have made them to heavy

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:27 AM

What are you talking about?!?! D: All cookie recipes are made for butter *nods*

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:30 AM

this one wasn't we tried making them with butter and it didn't work. gasp I know

I was thinking about male/female symbols, but that wouldn't do me any good. I honestly don't know which is which. Unless they make some sort of pink/blue tag, I'd be lost.

Yeah, I made a thread about it too in the Site Feedback, it would definitely help if there were a symbol of one's avatar's gender beside their avatar, perhaps beside one's gold count.

Too much butter on a bread kills my tongue Dx
While I don't mind a bit of butter every once in a while on my slices of toast, sometimes the bakeries here totally overdo it. Like they recently invented this bread where the inside was literally filled with butter. Ew. D:

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:35 AM

@Cuppy - That sounds like impossible nonsense to me D:

@Fading - Ok...that doesn't sound yummy. Butter used in moderation gives things wonderful flavor and does amazing things for the richness and texture of baked goods. Enough butter to make things greasy is just ew.

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:37 AM

~glomps fading~ your back

cookie-we use butter in ever thing else tho

Marguerite Blakeney 08-27-2009 08:39 AM

Cookie: I'm well, just tired. Can't sleep though because my favorite sitcom is on! And you? Are you yummy today?

PaintTheSkyRed 08-27-2009 08:40 AM

I was lurking on spy and I saw you guys kept posting about butter. I hate butter. When I was two years old, in my mad two year old mind, I woke up during the night and snuck into fridge and opened up a two gallon thing of butter and brought it back to my bedroom and ate it all. I got sick. I can't stand butter ever since.

._.'

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:41 AM

@cuppy - Butter is the King of Baking! (I just totally mistyped "Butter is the Kink of Baking" ....kinky XD)

@Mar-Mar - I'm always yummy Mar-Mar! Just sitting around being yummylicious!

Hi PaintTheSkyRed! Well, I have to break it to you Paint, if it was in a tub, it wasn't butter. You probably had a nice nasty mouthful of margarine spread x_x

Marguerite Blakeney 08-27-2009 08:41 AM

Ewww...I like butter but I rarely eat it. I just like it on my toast. And with whatever recipes call for it.

*licks Cookie* Ok I'm going to bed now because my tummy hurts. Love loves!

note too self put the butter up higher when my niece and nephews come over.

I use to reach up on the cutting board and scooped off onions, and other veggies then eat them. scared the heck out of my parents boot.

PaintTheSkyRed 08-27-2009 08:43 AM

It was margaine. I still hate both of margaine and butter. -.-

Ha yeah Cuppy. I have a friend who ate butter sticks as a treat. x.x

For-Chan Cookie 08-27-2009 08:45 AM

Aww, night night Mar-Mar. Get better!

@Cuppy - Onions? Gross. How could you even stand them when you were little? I can't stand raw onions now. As a kid I'd probably have cried after I put one in my mouth.

@Paint - Well what do you put on toast or vegetables or in food? D: This sounds like an impossible way to live. I simply refuse to think someone can avoid butter.

cuppycake_geek 08-27-2009 08:46 AM

my mom used to make butter sandwiches for me when I as little

cookie- i eat them all the time. I know I'm odd

PaintTheSkyRed 08-27-2009 08:47 AM

I make homemade jam and so I put it on toast. And I don't put it on veggies and if food HAS to have butter in it I use it barely. As long as I can't taste it.
