Well, one of them, the cute female, will be leaving us today as she's for someone else. I wish we were keeping her. She's cuter. She's black and brown, has a more outgoing personality and whines less. Plus there's something about boy dogs and their wieners that makes me want to pet them less XD We've had a boy dog when I was little. But after he died, we had all girl dogs. Then my brother got a boy dog again and having to deal with a wiener again is weird. Where you'd usually pet a girl's tummy, his junk is all in the way. And when he gets excited and it starts....ew....yeah, so not cool.

So anyway, we're keeping the mottled tan boy dog that whines a lot and is shyer. In theory, the puppy is for mom's boyfriend, but as I've said, he works a job where he's away from home all week. He's only home on the weekends, so we'll be taking care of the dog for quite a while and then once it's grown up enough to be out at his house alone, I don't think that my mom will let it go after having raised it. So she says the dog is for him, but I have a feeling that it's really just ours.

That's sexist, I think. I get what you mean though, i like my two girl dogs. DO you breed dogs then? or just love them very much?

I heard that male dogs tend to be more aggressive and urinates around more due to his territorial instincts...but yeah, I get what you mean about his...thing. :sweat:

I'd love to get a pet dog when I have a place of my own in the future though. :heart:

@Methina - We do not breed dogs. Both our girls are fixed and my brother's dog only has one ball, so he's not having puppies any time soon XD

@Fading - Boys certainly are spastic, though neutering them can help calm them down some.

Thanks x3 I'm kind of torn between getting a (not sure what it's called in English so I'm just going to post a link here) this or a this...probably the latter because it's smaller in size and easier to take care of ^^;;

Personally, I always say smaller. Not like Chihuahua small, but not huge hulking monster dog. They'll eat a lot and be able to get into things and ultimately be more unintentionally destructive. Accidentally knocking things over or chewing on them. Plus, more dog hair to deal with.

Boston Terriers are short haired dogs so while they shed, they're easy to groom and the hair isn't a ridiculous problem. Longer haired dogs with their fluffy furball shedding always make me feel a bit unclean. Plus their fur holds odors more without regular grooming and a lot of people don't groom them at home. I just pop mine in the tub once a month and we're good to go.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna pop back into bed for another hour or two. See you later ^_^
