Terminating processes always saves my tabs.
Lol. |
@Cookie: Chrome is wonderful :3
It's what we use at school. Sadly... I haven't remembered to get it for the house xD; *should probably do that and just get rid of FF* |
had to clean litter boxes.... smelly poo >.<
|
Yes, I love this idea I got.
|
Lol.
You've been jammin' on this for hours, Ama. |
@Mythos - Biggest downside? No adblock! Or other handy add ons.
Also, if I run Chrome and Firefox simultaneously, I notice that I get spontaneous script errors in Firefox. It might just be FF, but it only seems to happen when I have both open. It's weird. Otheriwse, it's a pretty slick browser. Not as much space taken up by menu bars and crap up top. The Tabs are easy to rearrange and pop out into new windows. The search and address bar are integrated. I wouldn't say it's ground breaking, but it is speedy. Oh yeah, another downside? Hard to play dress up on Mene. For some reason, you can maybe add one item to your avi and then it will stop dressing properly. I change my avi's clothes on Firefox. |
I like Firefox's favorites bar up top.
It's SO handy. The only other one I have is Stumble Upon. For when I get bored. But firefox's best feature, in my opinion, is that you can download like, 50 things at one time. Makes my pirating easier. :D |
;D Oh Pirating.
|
Yarrrr matey.
|
@Kisaki: Indeed. It feels just that good to me, and I keep coming up with things for the background and actual story.
|
Kisaki's comment reminds me that I think Xmarks, that bookmark add-on you can use for firefox, is compatible with Chrome. But Chrome doesn't really have add-ons, which is a shame, cause I really really miss ad-block when browsing on Chrome.
I watched some video clips on CNN.com last night and I hadn't realized how many freaking ads I miss when browsing on firefox. Every freaking clip they showed the same damn ad! I never see those with firefox! So if you do download chrome, don't get rid of poor Foxy. |
I'm firefox forejever. ;p
I was informed, by a friend of mine who is a tech specialist, that Internet Explorer actually runs the fastest. Because it needs to use less resources than FireFox. |
@Kisaki - Chrome plays flash games (like the crap on play on facebook) waaaaaaay better than firefox does. It's faster, less memory lag, but I still don't consider it my primary browser.
|
i like Linux more than Windows.... *runs away again*
|
hmm.. I'm a HUGE fan of adblockers already so I'll be forgoing the download. .. I'm sure they'll add an adblocker somewhat soon or consider patching it.
Whisper: if only I were that good with computers! xD |
^^ I use IE for other stuff.
Runs nicely because I run windows. |
I use Windows and IE out of habit.
|
@Kisaki - You know, I just can't believe that. No matter what they do to IE, I don't think it will regain it's stranglehold on the internet browsing public.
@Mythos - Well, if you play a lot of flash games, I'd consider the download. If not, I can't see a real need to other than curiosity. @Amane - But IE has so many security holes. =/ And you have to see the ads. Blech. Ads. |
i use windows vista because it plays my Sims3 but i like Open Suse because i can download stuff *heh, imma pirate* off of isohunt...
|
@Cookie: Again, habit.
|
Opera is the fastest browser.
Internet Explorer is faster than Firefox. http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html |
*back to story now X3*
|
@Amane - Download Firefox, Delete your IE shortcut and make it your habit! XD
|
yah. imma go play sims now >.> *huggles everyone*
|
This is it's conclusions after running tests on multiple platforms:
