Well, Cajun food isn't really known for its subtlety. People have these spices and they stick to them and use them in everything =/
I just notice this because my family's not from this state. They're from up north, so mom's boyfriend complains that her food has not taste. That's because he's burned out his darn tastebuds with lame seasonings, like Tony Chachere's. I mean, it's fine once in a while, but not on everything. My brother is starting to cook like that though. He made a roast the last time I was at his house and all it tasted like was that seasoning and salt. It was terribly over salted and overly spicy. I couldn't taste the meat's natural flavor at all x_X

Cookie: That's not nice, you're supposed to put spices on food, to enhance (and sometimes improve) it's natural taste, there's only one spice I'll never change, and that's the oregano on pizza :O
I mean that would be blasphemy, and dishonor to my italian blood DX

That's what I say! You enhance and build flavor! Not hide it! That's why I hate it when people dump salt on stuff without even tasting it or drown stuff in barbecue sauce or ketchup. Not that I don't appreciate barbecue sauce and ketchup, but they should be used in moderation (except on french fries XD).

Probably cause they want their food to be all processed and fatty and tasting like it came out of a can or a box. Kids have not taste XD

Cookie: I think that's exactly the reason, plus parents in Denmark really spoil their kids, I mean they just give them whatever food or candy they ask for, and then when they move out from home, they can't make anything but pasta with ketchup and fried eggs..
that's not exactly healthy >_>

Pasta with ketchup?!?! Why would you put ketchup on your pasta? Gross! Do they not sell can's of marina sauce in Denmark? Here, you can buy pasta sauces in jars and cans, so at least the poor slobs have pasta sauce.
This reminds me of a girl I know. She told me that microwavable pancakes (precooked frozen pancakes that you can microwave) are the best thing ever. I thought she was joking, because surely there must be something better than that right? And she's like "No! They really are the best thing ever! Because I can have pancakes even though I can't cook!" And I was like O_o

I almost told her that pancakes aren't hard, but I myself suck at making them, mostly cause I overheat my pan and burn them. I always think they're not cooking fast enough and put the heat up a little bit and a little bit more until suddenly it's too hot. x_X
@Color - I know. I have 160 Eastery things!

Cookie: Yes they do, and no we have a lot of different sauces that you can buy for no money at all, but that's what they're used to from home, so that's what they eat >_>
And eww... in microwaveoven? D'X Then I'd prefer to take the time to make real pancakes... especially the Russian Blinis, they're so yummy :3

@Color - Yeah, I never needed a mule either. I made Cookie Clone on a whim. I don't even store items on that account. I like to see what I have without having to switch accounts. I just tend to have a trade open with it at all times so I can hide my gold >_> Not that I have much right now. I spent it all at Christmas and haven't bothered to make it back again ^_^;;
@Mei - That's...really gross. Why the hell are their parents serving them spaghetti with ketchup?! Ew!
Yeah. I've never had them, but I imagine they're rather chewy. I'm ok with frozen waffles that you put in a toaster, but microwaving pancakes? No thanks.
I prefer crepes to pancakes :D

Cookie: Blinis, crepes, pancakes... I love them all xD
And well it tastes okay, but I really want more interesting food, and because their parents don't want to take responsibility or argue with their kids when they start screaming, most parents aren't aware of the responsibility it is to have kids..
But now I will go get my lunch, brb

Cookie: I'm the same way. I don't like having to switch accounts, especially if I'm just mixing and matching random items to see what they'll look like. But then again I've had this same outfit for quite awhile now and am still fond of it, so I thought this mini-event would be the perfect time to set up a mule. At least I'll have one ready should I ever need one.

Cookie Clone doesn't have much more on his account than the clothes on his back and a few event items. I should send him an Easter set, but I'm too lazy.
Anyway, off to bed before I end up staying up till 4pm instead of 4am >_>

Night night Mei. I just want to avoid staying up till the middle of the day again and then sleeping through until dark. While I'm a night owl, waking up when it's dark out feels weird to me. I still like a little sun!

If any of you happen to have the Reality TV Show channel, you should really check out the show called Solitary. Solitary 4.0 (Season 4) just ended but there should be some reruns here or there.
It's really an amazing show. XD I love Val, the computer that controls the 'human experiment'.

If you regret sleeping so much with someone, you shouldn't do it in the first place, because I am not interested in hearing you complaining about it on my TV D'X
