Yeah. I hit the block button so hard. x_x The internet can be so scary ;_;
Uuuuuuugh. The whiny puppy is back. Even with my headphones on I can hear it screaming for attention. I don't know how my mom is sleeping through that. I'm at the other end of the house and upstairs. Her bedroom is right next to the kitchen. She always says she's such a light sleeper, so this must be waking her up.

Maybe she's feeling lazy and wants you to take care of her so she's pretending not to hear it? :sweat:

I can squeak in my damn chair wrong from up here and she claims to be able to hear it. Besides, when training a puppy, you really are supposed to ignore it at times like this so it doesn't get used to constant attention. It's like spoiling a child to keep it quiet. A no-no.
I had the puppy up here for a few minutes and gave it a chewy treat and even as it ate it it was whining -_-

Oh...yeah, I think I heard my mom (who used to have a dog) mentioning about the ignoring method...and she says that when you're training it to not do its business everywhere in the house, you'll have to grab it, make it smell its own stuff, then smack it over the head so it'll learn that doing that is wrong and will have bad consequences...
...I'm going to fail at training a dog if I ever get one, because I wouldn't want to hit it :sweat:

The puppy is still too small for that kind of stuff. Mom really needs to put down some pee pads for the thing. They don't always work, but it's worth a try. And it should go out to the bathroom with the older dogs more. So it's like "Ooooooh. So I pee on the grass, not in the house!"
Well, there's always pet training classes you can take. And you don't really hit it, just sometimes they need a little swat. Trust me. After you step in shit once or twice, swatting the dog's butt won't be a problem xD

Poor owner's feet is right x_x
It depends. Around here the big pet store chains like Petsmart offer training courses and I don't think they're terribly expensive.

Oh, wow, we need those things around here >__>
Most people just let their dogs run wild...then boot them out the door when they become unmanageable, which explains the large amount of strays on the streets...sigh.

Yeah. But Petsmart thrives on people who treat their pets like their children and spoil them with lots of expensive food and toys and clothes and junk.
Some people just see animals as possessions. It sucks, but that's how a lot of people are.

My brother is definitely one of those people XD He totally loves his dog, my mom's always nagging him about how he never trains him to do anything and says that the dog needs discipline, but my brother says that it's too much for his dog and just wants his dog to be happy ^^; He also buys lots of dog products for Fuchi (Good Fortune in English) too, like calcium vitamins because Fuchi only has three legs and the hind leg is under a lot of pressure, etc.
Stupid people and their selfish ways >.>; *jabs at them with stick*

I spoil my dog, but mostly with treats. She's a little chubby >_> She hates clothes though, so I don't bother with that stuff. She gets belly rubs and sleeps in my bed. ^_^

A lot of people here dress up their dogs in clothes when it gets cold...they don't seem to get that most dogs don't need the clothes unless it gets reaaally cold (like snowing cold), since they have fur and we don't >__>;; Those poor dogs are always panting with their tongue out in those clothes D:
I want a pet to belly rub too >.>;;

When I did live somewhere cold and snowy, Niku didn't like to put on her dog sweaters even then. She liked running around in the snow "naked". Even though she has short hair and got all wet and cold, she liked it that way. She hates clothes. She's not a clothes kind of dog.
You can get a hamster. They have bellies to rub XD
You go Fading! Jab those idiots!

Yeah. People are mean to shove their dogs into clothes.
Only fish were allowed in our dorms. Which is understandable. Who wants someone with a hamster that can possibly escape into a dorm or a cat which is a lot of maintenance and might set off allergies in a dorm?
I had some fish, but they are boring pets =P

Oh, yeah. I totally forgot about the allergy problem some people may have D: I guess that's another valid reason for not allowing pets...; -;
Yeah, all fish ever do is swim around and bob their mouth at you XD;;
...Is there such a thing as being allergic to snakes? .__.;;

Fish aren't cool either. Unless they're pretty or you're eating them XD
I have no idea.

Fish is delicious. And good for your brain.
Snakes...they want to nom you. Unless it's this snake, probably one of the only snaked I'd consider owning, mostly because it's about the size of a worm and thus super cute!

Other than Squirmy, I wouldn't want to own a snake.

Considering that Niku's name translates to "meat" or "flesh" in Japanese....
I named her that will full knowledge though. She's sort of named after a character of mine and it's not as though when I say the word, I think meat. I say Niku and think of my dog. But it's always funny when I order yakiniku in a restaurant. Oh noes! XD
Apparently, my mom's boyfriend named the puppy Rusty. It's not even a rusty red color! It's cream with some light tannish spots and a brown patch on it's eye. Mom says it will grow up to be red. She's smoking crack obviously.

Rusty's not a bad name though :sweat:
Hmm...I'll probably come up with something after I get the snake. My crocodile plushie's name still remains as Crockey and I can't think of anything better...:gonk:

Rusty isn't a terrible name, but usually you name a red dog rusty, because rust is reddish brown. This dog is not a rust color.
You could name your croc Toothy XD
