@Fading: You never know. And cats are the easiest thing use to take over the world as apparent dog people have no humor when related to dogs. (cats apparently can actually laugh at themselves)
@Cookie: Okay thanks. Sorry but I'm RPing w/someone and the last post was how he slashed his sword and cut through the chain-mail. (note: not thrust, slash) (I am feeling like a PM before I post again)

Oh. Darn. Well, I'll do it someday! >D
If the person has a huge sword like a Buster Sword or claymore and has an incredible strength, then it's possible to slash through the chain mail...I think. Or if it couldn't slash through the chainmail, it can at least break a few bones beneath the armor.

@Fading: And Ironically enough this person has a light-weight sword. (the character he's fighting has a claymore though) >_>

:gonk:
I should think that is quite impossible to slash through the armor then, unless his sword is a super-advanced weapon that can slice through rocks like paper.

@Cookie: Yeah I did. >_> But that doesn't help with figuring if it's some sort of common knowledge or not. (I am somewhat knowledgeable about swords and stuff related to it mostly cause of my uncle and I have a big interest in them)
@Fading: I don't think so as we bought it at a blacksmiths shop. (we are in medieval times as well)

A sword likes that sounds scary. I was watching a show and they had a Katana so sharp that it could slice through the light, bending it around the wielder, thus making them invisible! D:

lol Wow, that must be some kind of legendary sword from a fantasy story XD;;
I think I've seen a similar concept of the light-bending sword in a manga once...o_O;

@Wifey - It's not. It was a sci-fi show XD
@Fading - Yeah, it was definitely from legend. A Legendary Japanese sword.

@White: I forgot XD I think it was a pretty good one though, but I thought the sword-concept was a bit too far off from reality, even in manga terms >_>;
@Cookie: lol, No wonder. xDD
