@Mei: Huh, that's interesting. Honey? Although that might also be rather yummy. I like sweet things.
@Cookie: What?! *shoves mirror down her panties* Oh goodness is that a doughnut shop in the corner?

Jelly: Not in the Scandinavian rye bread I tell you.. since we make it of sour dough and an incredible amount of rye... >_>
So I stick to the bread my mother bakes

@Mei: Yum. I like the sour dough bread the German bakery makes, yet I don't like American sour dough breads at all.They taste funny to me.
@Cookie: >.> Don't encourage them!

Night night Kierys.
My mom and grandmother do open faced sandwiches. I'm not much of a fan myself. Even though, a serving size of bread is really one slice, so it's probably better for you to eat them that way XD

I find that if I used two slices of the german bread it's too much bread and overpowers all the other stuff on the sandwich.

Jelly: Well it has to be done with rye bread, butter and not too much on top of it... I found that the amount of meat you put on Sandwhiches over in USA, is what we have in a whole package... and we only put on one or two pieces at a max...
then of course you can put a little salad and what not, to make it look good, but not too much :3

Makes sense. Can't say that I've ever had a good sturdy foreign bread though. Louisiana lacks anything resembling a good bakery.

What we do is, we bake most of it ourselves... because the factory produced bread isn't that nice... >_>

@Mei: American's love their cold cuts. I always have to tell people "only three slices of meat" when I go to like subway or Quiznos.
@Cookie; Oh that sucks. I love it when you get a nice loaf of bread. Once I got to the bakery just as they were putting still warm bread on the racks. I almost ate the whole thing in the shop. x3

Oh look! one of the cast members from Twilight is in this horrible horror movie.

@Mei - The bakeries, what few there are, don't even have good pastry! They're useless! >_<
@Jellybean - It does suck. When I lived in Rhode Island there were always Italian and Portuguese bakeries that you could go to for different things, but not here in Louisiana. The Cajuns don't really have a big bread culture. I mean, there's French bread and you make poboys on it, but not much else. And even the French Bread is just the grocery stores' interpretation of French bread, not real French bread.
