Oh okay. Because I'm trying to loose weight I need to watch carefully what I eat. Today wasnt a good eating day Lol. Had way too much junk food.

My mom took me to a buffet. It used to be really good but we haven't been there in years and now the quality royally sucks.

I had two chili dogs today. One for BREAKFAST and one for dinner! :gonk:

Oh that sucks. I went to the movies today, movie wasnt that great and I had m and ms, cookies, and twisties. Dinner was spinach and fetta pastry things.

Didn't eat breakfast.

I just didn't feel like having a bowl of cereal this morning. And really, I eat breakfast around 6am, but at that point I've been up all night so it's technically my dinner.

Shoot I woke up at 6am for the first time...yesterday. And then I fell asleep at 9something, woke back up at 12:40. : ) Cereal is pretty light fare, come to think of it.

Medi: It's ok, I didn't like it either. The first movie was fine. This one was like...a trainwreck.

Cookie: I LOVE CEREAL TOO, YO! Cocoa Pebbles all the way! Sometimes I'll want an egg though and then when it's cooked I don't want it anymore (taste, smell kinda thing).

@MarMar - When we have English muffins, I like making an egg muffin with egg and cheese. Mmm. Although, in my Food Network Magazine they had 50 egg recipes, so I made this Hollandaise sauce they had, because egg mcmuffins are supposedly a poor man's version of some other dish with hollandaise sauce. Anyway, i made the sauce and....I hated it! IT was awful. I threw it away. It was just like, lemon flavored mayo with some egg yolk in it. Yuck! Just give me the cheese please!

Ewwwww...I usually like Hollandaise sauce. I usually like egg & sausage muffins and if I go to the BFF's house, I'll ask her to make it for me (because everyone that knows me IRL knows that I can't cook to save my life). Sometimes she'll do so, other times she'll go "hell no bitch!" There's gotta be some other way to make good Hollandaise sauce.

My cooking experiment last week involved bruschetta and a really bad version of a pizza. Both were topped with bearnaise sauce (it reminded me of Restaurant City, of course I had to buy it to try). It sucked. Really really salty.

I want to get Julia Child's cookbook so bad though. You subscribe to Food Network magazine??

Well, after a bit of research, I found that the FN recipe was like a cheat. That's now how you're really supposed to make the sauce. So I might give it another chance some day, but the memory is so horrid, maybe not.

And yes, I have a Food Network Mag subscription. I have it from the first issue :D I got a super awesome cinnamon roll recipe out of it. There's lots of recipes that tempt me, but I haven't tried a lot of them yet. I want to try a stir fry recipe next.

I have a really really old copy of The Joy of Cooking published in 1943. It's falling apart. My great grandmother gave it to my mom. I really should try to cook my way through it.
