Volvos are supposed to be really good cars. I have a Buick Century and I love it. It's a tank. :heart: Unfortunately, things are starting to fail in it, like my windows. I'll need a new car eventually. I'll be sad to get rid of my tank ;_;

yeah we need to fix my mom's car about once a month. One time the muffler actually fell off when we were driving. Then there was the time when something had broke on the car that my dad has never heard of happening on a volvo. (And he's like an expert, as much as I've heard he's a lot better than most certified mechanics.)

That sucks. My car's still holding together well, just things here and there going. Like the windows, the air conditioning (which I got fixed cause it's too damn hot here not to have any!), my blinker (which I also got fixed because while some people feel that blinkers are optional, THEY'RE NOT!).....Yeah, I hate people in cars. They drive so stupidly, like they're not in speeding death traps, narrowly avoiding death as they cut people off and zoom down the road. -_-

XD Yeah, she's also had a few problems with AC and windows. We don't need AC around hear cause it's been a cool summer except for about two weeks. lol about the blinkers.
Yeah, that's why it's taking so long for me to get a license I never really needed one until now. I'm not a fan of driving.

Well, in Louisiana you need either windows that function or AC. AC it better cause it's sooooo hot! Like, get in a car with leather interior and burn yourself on it hot! x_x I used to hate getting into my dad's work car on a hot day. Wearing shorts, you sit down and get scorching hot red fake leather on delicate little thighs. Owwie ;_;
I didn't get my license until I was 19. Everyone rushes out to get them as soon as humanly possible like it's the greatest thing EVER! Well, we moved out of the country when I was 16 and I refused to get my license in Scotland because I'd have to learn to drive on the wrong side of the road and their driving test was really hard. Almost everyone failed at least once, if not more. So I finally got my license when we moved back to the States.

That's what it is with my parent's cars. hot leather hurts, In these cars i think it's real though.
Sounds like all of my friends, I mean my brother has his license and I don't (he's younger than me) I actually failed the test the first time, mostly cause I drove too slow. Apparantly you have to be exactly the speed limit. No more, no less. And they told us you could go 5 under. ARG! (yes I admit I'm a granny-type of driver) And it doesn't help that I have periferal vision. I'm one of those people that can see everything out of my eyes instead of having to turn my head all the time. (I really need to practice that so I can pass.)

My dad's company had a fleet of white Crown Victoria's with red pleather interior. In 90 degree heat that is just owwie!
My younger brother got his license before me as well. He had to drive me around XD

I will not let my brother drive me ever again! He decided it would be fun if we drove down a paved road (not busy but paved) on the opposite side. I haven't gotten in the car if he's driving since. Luckily town is rather close so I can walk.

Wow. Goofing off in the car is a good way to DIE! My brothers both have Mustangs now and like to drive fast =/ I admit, I drive a little above the speed limit just to keep up with the pace of traffic, but I'm not big on going excessively fast.

Yeah, I'm now okay with driving fast. I just don't go over the limit. I don't mind If I consider the driver is safe when they are going fast, but what my brother did was way beyond my patience.
He doesn't have a car yet cause he won't help fix the one we got him. My dad used to buy cheap old cars so he could resell them and we got to pick which one we wanted (sorta). My car is first priority mostly cause I'm going to move out of the house soon. I'm getting annoyed by family. (it doesn't help that I don't really have my own room in either house)

Yeah, I can imagine that living next to the fridge must suck. I used to live in a living room on a couch when I was in California, but luckily that didn't last long and I moved back home.
And now I'm going to go make some dinner, cause I'm hungry! I'll be back laterish ^_^

@For-Chan: So it was you I told it too. XD I can never remember when I'm on two threads at once. Good thing about California not lasting long. (in the couch sense)
@Oscar: Hello! I take the sandwitches were delicious.

Hi Oscar!
@White2fire - Yeah. It was mean. It is hard to keep track of people! Or at least who knows what about you. So I'll probably start repeating myself eventually. A lot. I do that all the time anyway. I forget that I told people something and tell it again =/
Anyway, my dinner is in the oven. Can't wait till it's done! :D

Mar-Mar! I know! We can't get away from food can we?! I should rename us "Wallflowers Who Talk about Food...A LOT!" XD Not very catchy though is it. I'm making a cheesy chicken spaghetti casserole.
We do need a nickname for white2fire don't we? *brainstorms*
