I used to buy quite a bit, but now I don't. I have the same problem. I'll buy stuff and not watch it, so I stopped buying stuff.

@Fading - DVDs are pretty pricey here too. Probably not bad in comparison, but still. It adds up. I consume most of my anime and manga on the internet these days too.

@Makoto - It is a lot easier. One quick click shows if the threads you were chatting in have updated. I have quite a few subscribed to.

Hey Whitefire ^_^ I'm doing good, I got obsessed with playing Morrowind lately so it's keeping me very occupied xD;

@Cookie: Yeah. I've spent thousands on manga...though I rarely read them ^_^;; So I just read them off Onemanga.com now. But I'm definitely buying One Piece when it ends (if the ending's good), it's one of my all-time favorites. <3

@Fading - Yeah, my manga collection is probably worth a thousand or so. And I have some out of print yaoi titles that are worth a few hundred alone :D

I do the same thing. Onemanga and MangaFox are the source of 80% of my manga reading. The other 20% is from yaoi manga downloads.

@Fading: I actually know that game. Never played it but I have played Oblivion which is a game that's basically the same.

I love One Piece. Actually I've heard that the anime is farther than the manga. And I was iffy about reading it a first cause of the english dub I had glimpsed on TV one day. O_o It was bad.
But my friend has the manga and so I started to read it and I love it.

Ah. Yeah, I have Oblivion too, but I don't play it because my laptop's too crappy for its awesomeistic graphics; it lags horribly and if I try to deal with more than two enemies at once, it freezes. And by the time it starts up again, I'm dead already.

I don't watch anime mainly because of all the fillers in it D: It draaaaags the whole thing on and on and on with all those constant flashbacks and slow dialogues! >_< It drives me crazy, so I prefer manga, where I can flip through the pages as fast as I want xD

@Fading - Oh I agree so much! I stopped watching Naruto and Bleach because of the damn filler. Everyone always seemed to regress in skill level during fillers. They turned Iruka into a barely competent ninja in the filler, yet he's the one teaching the future ninjas? And they took away Ichigo's bankai. Blah.

Since I haven't watched those anime, I can't say for sure, but I had no idea they'd take away Ichigo's Bankai! How'd that happen? o_O;

I've watched a few episodes of Naruto back when I was at home and was waiting for Spongebob to start...the flashbacks and them discussing stuff while running and flying over the trees drove me crazy...I kept thinking, "C'mon, get on with the story already! Dx"

@Fading - After the time in the Soul Society, the anime overtook the manga, so they made a filler arc about these psychic vampire things called Bounts. And for whatever reason, they decided that Ichigo couldn't use his bankai anymore and so I guess they spent the whole time retraining him. I got fed up with the idiocy an episode or two in and just stopped watching.

Yeah, Naruto and its flashbacks are annoying. But I don't watch either of those two animes anymore and I don't even follow the manga anymore

...Wtf? -___-;
That sounds ridiculous. Filler chapters always make me sick...because they rarely make any sense or contribute to the main story at all.

I'm thinking of dropping Naruto. It's gotten really out of hand lately...not interesting at all anymore. :| The only thing that's keeping me still reading it every week is that plant-thing...I keep forgetting their name but it's funny watching them melt and split themselves. All my other favorite characters have died already. >___> *coughDeidaracoughItachicoughetccoughcough*

@Makoto: Do you mean this then? I don't know the English name for that manga, but it's one of the few other ninja manga that I know of that is more mature than Naruto...:sweat:

fading the English title is Nabari No Ou Yen plus plus runs it and there's a anime by funamation

@Fading - Exactly. It was ridiculous. It was way too stupid for me to watch. Even though I kind of wanted to see Hanatoru and Ganju working in a convenience store later on, I just couldn't stomach the fillers. They just dumb everybody down and make them sit around and wait. It's like busy work for anime. It sucks.

Ahh, thanks. The manga printed here didn't have the English name for it printed on them so I had no idea. I couldn't find it on Google either with just the Chinese name typed into the search bar :gonk:
