@Mar-Mar - I took some already. In pill form. I hate swallowing that milky stuff or chewing tablets. I'm so glad they make it in a pill you can swallow. I prefer swallowing them so you don't have to taste it or get it stuck in your teeth and mouth x_X I don't know how people can take swigs of pepto bismal. Ugh.

@Fading - Well that sucks. =/ I hope you feel better soon!

We went to a new Chinese restaurant for lunch -_- It wanted to be a very fancy place, but it was just ok and then we ended up getting sick. So not such a great place after all.

Ugh, what a nasty restaurant D: Kind of reminds me of the few times when I went to a restaurant and their beef noodles had dead mosquitos floating in the soup...

Yeah, I've had food poisoning a few times. Not the greatest thing in the world.

I stopped going to that restaurant after I went there and all three times they had mosquitos in the soup. I'm there for the beef noodles, not mosquito soup!! :illgetu:

@Fading - The place just opened, they were really trying to be an upscale sort of restaurant, modeled after a much large popular mid-level chain. They obviously failed hardcore.

Mosquitoes in your soup? EW! Gross! As if they aren't bad enough alive!

@Mar-Mar - Yeah. My mom was worse off than I was. I'm mostly back to normal now.

Yeah. I'm kind of used to seeing bugs in my food though, so I just flicked it out and continued eating...though after that I won't be going back there again. I've seen ants, various insects, millipedes, and unidentifible bug parts in my food before, and it used to gross me out so bad...now I think I've become numb about it all. -_-;

Fading: Dude, that's unsanitary though.

@Fading - Ewww. Bug parts. I know we eat a lot more bugs than we realize. There's actually factory standards for allowable bug parts in processed food. But still, thinking about it is so gross x_x

@Cookie: Wow. that's kinda gross. But then again the bugs are good for protein.

and they are low in fat thats why models eat them and the real housewives of Atlanta is scaring me

@Wifey - Yeah. I was watching something where the guy was advocating putting ground up crickets into bread to give it more fiber x_x

Unsanitary, yes, but you get used to it...since there are just way too much bugs to care here. Thanks to the humid and warm climates here. It's nearly impossible to get rid of them all, especially if you're eating in a restaurant that's half-outdoors with no doors or air conditioning. x__x;

Ack. I accidentally bit down on a strip of stray skin on my lip and tore it off...now my entire mouth is filled with the taste of blood. -_-; *rinses mouth with lemonade*

@Fading - I guess you just have to get used to stuff like that or you'd never eat around there XD

lol Yeah, I did. That's why I said I've gone numb about it all xD;; Nowadays I'd see a bug in my food, flick it out with my chopsticks, and continue eating >.>; As long as the bug isn't something large like a cricket or a cockroach, I won't mind...most of the time. Sometimes they still freak me out if I'm in a particularly 'sanitary' mood xD

Oww. I hate it when that happens. I usually end up biting my tongue or the insides of my mouth...hurts like hell, especially when you happen to have a mouthful of very salty food near where the teeth came down on.

Yeah, I've done that with bugs. But I've once found a spider in food. It was an open bag of chips.

Yeah, salt on a wound. So comforting.
