For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 03:46 AM

@Fuyumi - Indeed.

I'm fine. I just ate some mochi :D I made it last night. Almost creme mochi. It's soooo good. I love how soft and pillowy it is :drool:

@Cuppy. Ummm...Food! Yeah! Food is always good :rofl:

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 03:46 AM

yeah I know that cookie but what kinda of food

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 03:48 AM

@Cuppy - The kind you eat. Duh! But not dog food or cat food. No, it has to be people food. Unless you like dog food. XP

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 03:50 AM

we have no dog food we have cat food but the cats don't even eat that

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 03:52 AM

@Cuppy - Maybe you should go cannibal and eat a cuppycake D:

fuyumi_saito 10-18-2009 03:53 AM

@Cuppy
What sorta food do you have in your house?

@Cookie
I've never had Mochi. It sounds really cute though. Mochi.. I'll have to look that up. *googles it* It is cute!! It's cool you made it. is it difficult to make?

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 03:56 AM

@Fuyumi - Mochi is very good. It's a Japanese treat made with sweet rice and pounded out. Though in my case, I used mochi flour to make my mochi. Typically, you can get it filled with a sweet red bean filling. Though, one of my favorite ways to eat it is to have mochi ice cream! Mochi wrapped around little balls of ice cream. I love red bean mochi ice cream. It is delicious! :drool:

This mochi was really simple. I think the hardest part is finding a place that sells mochi flour. I got this in San Francisco. Our local Asian market is Korean and I didn't find any there last time I went.

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 03:58 AM

Saito:ramen,udon,soup,sandwich stuff,cookie dough, yogurt, and eggs.

Cookie:Sadly I has no cupcakes

fuyumi_saito 10-18-2009 04:03 AM

@Cookie
Oh that's cool. I highly doubt anywhere around here would have that stuff..but I guess you never know.. It looks cool, and yummy. *drools* I would lvoe to try it. Have you tried sesame balls? They're yummy ^^ I also like Chinese Bread, sushi, and dumplings. Dumplings are really yummy *loves Asian food*

@Cuppy
Well sounds like you have a lot. Hmm.. Well what are you in the mood for? Dinner like meal or dessert?

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 04:05 AM

Saito:dinner like food and I is in the mood to Rp now oddly enough

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 04:09 AM

@Cuppy - Make some!

@Fuyumi - I have not had those. But I also love Asian food. I love Chinese food and I love Japanese food. I don't like sushi, but I love yakisoba and okonomiyaki and yakiniku and Japanese curry. There's a lot of things I really like. There's also a lot of weird foods they eat that turn me off. Ah well.

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 04:13 AM

but its 11 and I don't wanna

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 04:18 AM

@Cuppy - Night time is the best time to bake. It's cooler. There's nobody around to stick their fingers in your batter or get in your way. I do most of my baking at night.

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 04:19 AM

true but I checked and we don't have what I need to make cupcakes

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 04:31 AM

We probably have at least 20 boxes of cake mix around here, about three bags of flour AND two boxes of cake flour. If I want to make something, I can. Now if only I had a super awesome stand mixer to keep up with me. One day I will kill the hand mixer with what I put it through. D:

fuyumi_saito 10-18-2009 04:33 AM

@Cuppy
Ramen is easy to make *nods*

@Cookie
Oh, you should try it. Trying different kinds of food is fun. I've even tried frog legs (it was okay. Wouldn't eat it again..but yeah)

Lol.. well it can't be helped I suppose. A lot of people eat different food. I used to not like sushi, but then I tried it again and liked it. I had to get over the fact that it was raw first. After that I was fine with eating it. I mean..I eat raw vegetables, so why not raw fish and seaweed.. I haven't tried a lot of Japanese food. I've been to a Japanese restaurant, but all they had was sushi, some soup(which I didn't try at the time), fried rice(which was good) and eel. My friend told me eel is the best. So I would like to try it eventually.

Thai food is okay, it's spicey and sweet..so it's a bit strange to me.

edit: wait I have had yakisoba.

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 04:35 AM

Saito:It is and I have finished all my food probs. cause I ate some cookie dough!

Cookie:we have a super awesome stand mixer although I'm not allowed to use it cause my granny doesn't want me getting my arm or hand stuck in it.

fuyumi_saito 10-18-2009 04:40 AM

@Cuppy
Oh that's cool XD cookie dough is always good.

For-Chan Cookie 10-18-2009 04:41 AM

@Fuyumi - I do try new things, but some stuff is just gross x_x I've tried sushi like a million times and I just can't get into it. The seaweed paper, the texture of the fish, the popping of roe in my mouth. Nausea inducing. I've embarrassed my friends on occasion by just spitting it out. I don't care that it's raw, I care that it's composed of many things that I just don't like. Even the California rolls have cucumbers or avocados in them, neither of which I eat and they're covered in nori, which is awful stuff. Ugh. No thanks.

But there's more to Japanese food than just sushi, lucky for me. I like a lot of their other kinds of cuisine. I'm not as big on Thai food. I'm not a big fan of peanut in my main courses.

@Cuppy - Around these parts we refer to cookie dough as aborted cookie fetuses! Because it's meant to be a cookie, but you cut off it's young life too soon!

cuppycake_geek 10-18-2009 04:42 AM

Saito:yep

Cookie:you have a very colorful way of putting things don't ya cookie
