Hey Gaijin ^_^

Hey Fading. I went to sleep around nine am and woke up around 6pm >_> So it was a normal eight hours, but I slept all day.

Gaijin's right! I am nocturnal! I always stay up more at night than during the day. I need a new job that accommodates this habit. I am so not a day person.

lol Me neither. I'm thinking of getting a night job like a security guard or something after I graduate, because I totally can't keep myself awake during the day, even if I get a full 10 hours of sleep. >.>;

That reminds me of the movie Cashback. Have you guys ever seen that movie? It's really good and it has Sean Biggerstaff! ^^

I'm thinking of making an essay forum. You guys know if there's one already? I don't wanna break the rules...

@Fading - I used to work the afternoon/evening shift at a hotel. That's also something to consider. ^_^

@Gaijin - There's the Lit spot for posting stuff you've written, but you actually can't post essays there. It's for creative works.

@Fading - Yeah. There was a lot of free time at night. So you could read and stuff. Actually, I participated in last year's Celes Paradi mostly from work XD

(though sadly, I can't, even when the class involves computers, due to the craptastic Internet connections our school computers have...I mean, even our dorm connections are better!)


@Gaijin: Hmm...maybe you can make one in the Nations? >.>;; Like, a thread for people to discuss essays that they've written, or post other people's essays in quotes and discuss those...?

@Gaijin - Most essays aren't creative works and I think the mods want to prevent people from posting every essay they ever did for school to earn gold. It's hardly a creative effort to copy and paste all your essays onto Mene.

@Fading - Well, at least you have an internet connection. That's the good thing. You could be completely deprived and cut off from the world D:

Unless there involves actual discussion and not just endless copy-and-pastes of essays in each post ^^;

@Existence:That sounds like a good idea. I was thinking long term essays though or maybe timed writes you've written in the past. I like to debate, although I'm not very good at it xD But you can get good feedback here, which is always a plus ;)

The computers at our school get good internet but so many sites are blocked. All the avatar sites I go on, youtube, manga reading sites... >.> makes me sad. even some good research resources are blocked! D:

@Cookie: That's a good point... But you did write them so... Maybe a requirement should be made to have them put the reason why they posted each essay and put the date they wrote it and stuff... idk >.>

I like to search for random porn sites and see which ones our school have managed to block. :rofl:

From my observations, so far they have yet to block anime hentai, and have only blocked 'regular' porn sites that involves real people :lol:

But then, I don't often do that since some of those sites are so virus infested :|

Yeah, in my third year so far :P

It's pretty fun for the most part I guess, since we have a lot more free time than back in high school. And also neat that you won't have to be stuck in a classroom for long with your classmates (at least for me, since I don't really get along well with some).

You could also go out for fun during the weekends and if you live in the dorms, you won't have your parents yelling at you to stop procrastinating and wasting time all day xD;

@Gaijin - You'd have to ask a mod, not Fading, why that's the standard. Lit spot isn't his specialty. But I agree with the no essays thing. Sure you wrote it, but honestly, I used to work in a writing center and the amount of thought that goes into school assigned essays is pretty minimal. It's such a potential abuse of the gold system, why bother even opening that can of worms? They don't allow blog posts in the Lit Spot either, though some people's are very creative. It still doesn't belong there.

@Fading - You're just an internet rebel XD

Haha...I mostly lurk in the Community Discussion and Mene Nation, or the Info Desk, Site Feedback, and Word Games :sweat:
I often stray into the RP section too, but yeah...Lit's not really my specialty. Nor Art. :gonk:

That's sounds great but I don't know who to believe.

People are telling me you get to party all day. Different people are telling me you have to read all day and study all day. I'm thinking of taking a year off school before college 'cause we don't have much money and I need to get a job... >.>

@Fading - I'm mostly here in Mene Nation, well this thread more specifically. I don't really participate in any other the others. I'm in the RP section sometimes and very rarely do I cruise the site. I hit the lit spot for discussion sometimes and the art shops cause I have my blinkie shop there, but there's some places I never go. Like Avatar Chat or Charities.

My mom is torturing our old senile dog. Scutter was scratching at my mom's door so mom locked Scutter in the kitchen with the annoying puppy and now Scutter is making crazy demon wookie noises.

Well, technically, the best road to go would be the 'study all day' option, since it's a tough world out there...but since I'm lazy with no ambition at all with my life, I prefer to have a more relaxed college life.
