*sings the teapot song*

Fading's a little teapot short and stout!
There is his handle, there is his spout.
When he gets all steamed up then he shouts!
"Tip me over and pour me out!"

:D

Not as creepy as Rock-a-bye baby. I mean, come on!

Rock-a-bye baby in the treetop. Why the heck is the baby in the tree top?!
When the wind blows the cradle will rock. What horrible parent put a cradle in the treetop?
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall. Holy shit! It's falling!
Down will come baby, cradle and all. OMG! OMG! Dead baby squished at the bottom of a tree! Makes good fertilizer? D:

It is! It must be some crazy baby eating tree.

Some new, unsuspecting mother leaves the cradle with the baby under the nice shade tree in the back yard to run in the house for something. When she comes back, the baby is gone! She searches frantically for her child, but can't find it! She goes back into call the police and the wind starts to blow. The tree is shaking in the wind. Leaves rain down and get whipped up by the wind. The woman thinks she hears her baby crying. Then there's a sharp CRACK! And something's falling down through the trees! CRASH!

She runs outside to find the cradle smashed at the bottom of the tree! She searches through the wreckage, but there's no baby inside! She looks up in the tree and sees her baby's blanket snagged in the tree's branches, but no baby. The wind whips up again and the blanket is freed, flying off into the wind. The camera follows the blanket and the song starts to play. "Rock-a-bye baaaaaaaby in the treetooooop."

lol Wouldn't it be even more horrifying if she finds the baby mangled up and somehow caught inside the tree's trunk as though the tree were eating it? :P

It would, but I kind of prefer the mystery element to the gore factor myself.

She looks up and sees the hand of her child hanging limply from one of the limbs. As she watches, it starts to rain. No, it's not rain, it's blood! Blood dripping down the arm of her child and then the tree sways and the limp body falls to the ground and the mother screams and screams and screams!

There, is that better for you Fading?

Ahh, that's true. I like the 'dead-and-dried-for-a-long-time-since-the-disappearance-with-the-body-in-an-obvious-place-yet-somehow-no one-found-it-until-so-many-years-later' kind of thing xD Like the mother paying a visit to the tree ten years later, only to find the dried corpse of her baby right under the tree, lying there.

Ewwww. Baby jerky. x_X

There are plenty of ways to go about it. How about not finding a body at all, just noticing that the bark looks like the face of her child twisted in pain, screaming for her? D:

Man, I'm creeping myself out XD

Ha ha ha! I ruined your jerky. I haven't eaten jerky in forever. Do you know those Slim Jim Jerky sticks? You might not, because they're an American thing. Anyway, their plant exploded a few months ago and it was the only place that made them! So now they say there's going to be a shortage of Slim Jims until they fix the place XD

Someone needs to outlaw us from getting together. Weird things happen when we chat XD Like Naked Wednesday and Rock-a-Bye baby horror stories! D:

I rarely eat jerky back in the states so I haven't heard of that brand before. There was a while where I wouldn't eat jerky anymore because my mom once brought back some bags of jerky, and I was eating them one day while watching TV, when I noticed something weird about the jerky strips...I looked down at the jerkies in the bag and found that over half of them were in fact covered in white fuzzy mold -____-;

lol But these inspirations are fuuun! X'D

I don't know how I typed "Mostly anything is gross" instead of "Moldy anything is gross" but I did it o.o It's like when I mean to type delirious and type delicious instead. It just happens! D:

I'm not actually all that big on creepy. I creep myself out too easily.

I tend to accidentally leave out stuff too when I type, so I always double-check before I make a post...though sometimes those errors still slip out D:

I creep myself out all the time >.>;

Yeah. typos happen. Although, there are other people on here that are much worse. They leave out entire words and punctuation and I'm like "WTF is that theoretical sentence supposed to mean?!" It frustrates me. Either type properly or goooooooo awaaaaaaaaaay! x_x

Yeah, I walk up the stairs looking behind me >_> And then when I get to the top I do this crazy freaked out spin to make sure there's nothing at the top and nothing snuck up behind me while I was looking around. O_o

XD

I usually get these scary images of ghosts and zombies and whatnot appear in my head while I try to sleep at night, so I end up keeping on opening my eyes to look around and make sure there are no bloody faces staring at me D:

I sleep with a sheet covering my head. The only time I don't sleep that way is if I'm staying in a hotel for a night or something. Otherwise, there's always a blanket or sheet over my head. And considering that I sleep during the day mostly, it helps to block out the light.

But as a child you think if the monsters can't see you, they can't eat you! Or whatever. So I always just stayed covered. It's funny, because in the summer when it's hot, I'll cover my head but the rest of me is probably sticking out XD

lol I used to sleep like that, until I nearly suffocated myself once. xD;;
After that I sleep with my head out...or I'd use a towel or something to cover my eyes, but not my nose and mouth.

Yeah, I still have the habit of sleeping with my room door closed, thanks to having seen a ghost in my bathroom once. I got into the habit of thinking that as long as the door is closed, I'm safe from the ghost. >__>;;

I used to have this duvet cover. It's like a pillow case for a comforter, so you can change the look of a comforter. And I actually put my blankets and sheets and teddy bear inside of it and I slept inside of the duvet cover. XD I've never died from my odd sleeping habits either XD If anything, I have trouble with my hair or a nightgown trying to strangle me at night because I toss and turn so damn much. I have to keep my hair in a ponytail or else it gets everywhere.

Eek. Ghosts in the bathroom. *looks at bathroom door warily*

How long is your hair? o__O;;

I don't wear pajamas, and nearly always wear what I'm going to wear the next day when I go to sleep at night (T-shirt and jeans mostly), so I don't have the problem of my clothes trying to strangle me. ^_^;;;

Hey Sir Spoon. I'm ok. Fading and I are just scaring each other with weird stories XD

@Fading - My hair used to go down past my waist. It's down to my shoulder blades now though. I rarely wear nightgowns anymore, I tend to wear t-shirts. Sometimes I'll go to bed in the same clothes I wore all day. My clothes are wrinkly when I wake up, so I couldn't wear them around, even if I'm not some great fashionista or anything. I just wear a t-shirt and jeans too XD
