XD I live in a little town in western wisconsin. Maybe I don't comb the grocery enough, but usually there isn't anything special. Their 'asian food section' consists of a million bottles of soy sauce.. They finally got the cock sauce, which is like a huge step up :ninja:

@Cookie: If it's good then I don't mind, like my favorite is a boxing manga called Hajime No Ippo. Been going for twenty years!

@Rainbows - Yeah, our grocery stores have a wimpy asian section as well. Even the World Market doesn't have tonkatsu sauce! *sobs* And that's sriracha.

@Vix - See, not my thing. I'm reading Beelzebub and Defense Devil and Fairy Tale (until I get board with it, like I got bored with Naruto and Bleach :rofl:)

Ew, I hated Naruto and Bleach.

I didn't mind either one of them in the beginning. But as they progress they just start to sag under their on weight :P

Ah! Wait, I edit. A Japanese student I hosted during a transfer program gave me Naruto in Japanese... but I'm not sure if that counts as reading it, since I could only understand a tiny, tiny bit. ^__^;;;

@Wifey - I liked Bleach in the beginning. I just don't care about it any more. That whole Hueco Mundo arc or whatever it is, just too long and dragged out with everyone spontaneously getting strong and stronger and stronger. It bugs me when Shounen gets stuck in that rut. There never seems to be some sort of cap on their powers.

@Amu - I can't say that you're missing out.

I never read the manga but the shows bored me almost instantly.

I'll start watching the shows, but those are even worse, because once they outstrip the manga, then you're in Filler Land, which is a horrible horrible place! Ugh. Once it hits a filler, I go back to reading the manga and don't bother with the anime.

I hate fillers :P

Makes me glad Fighting Spirit (Ippo's English anime) is pretty damn faithful to the manga, even the lul parts.

I just really hated the ending of the first arc when what's-his-name got away.
How it just kinda ended right there...left something needed.

@Amu - I watched Shugo Chara for a while, but yeah, fillers make it lame and I never picked up the manga.

@Vix - Yeah, but if it has twenty years of canon, and they started the anime after there was lots out, it's easier to do you know. With newer stuff, they jump on the bandwagon right away. And look at Fullmetal Alchemist. They outpaced the manga and went total Alternate Universe. But then a few years later, they were all "Let's remake it more faithfully!" ....what? I know it's rather popular, but it seemed like such a stupid move. I didn't bother watching the second anime even though I prefer the manga to the first anime.

@Wifey - Yeah. But that's the nature of shounen. Let the bad guy get away to be evil another day it seems. They keep coming back for more.

Didn't like FMA either. I dislike most anime.

@Cookie: Eh, the manga's better than the anime. I read it more than I watched it. ^__^

Hmm. Picky Vix. Well, everyone has things they like. *shrugs* I like all sorts of different anime. Quirky things like Moyashimon, about microbes. Love comedies like Lovely Complex or Toradora. Shounen....Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!! :D

@Amu - I figure it is, but I just haven't had the strong urge to read it.

@Cookie: Yeah. Shugo Chara's just an OK manga/anime. It's a little typical, but it's cute :3
