Well that makes me more awesome then you XD Just plugging in random images is laaaame. Personalizing them and sticking them in is far more awesome. I made the background on both of my mene profiles. So sparkly :D
|
If I had photoshop I would've been able to do something...unfortunately, I'm stuck with my crappy MS Paint. :P |
Download a free program like Gimp. Or pirate one. Arrr. XD
|
lunapic.com is where I usually go for simple edits like shading or adding slanted text...but I'll go and look up and see what Gimp's like :P |
You can use photobucket to edit images as well. And you can host them there. So that's handy. But I prefer to have a program.
|
I prefer online stuff since my computer sucks with most programs and runs so ever slowly...though part of it's my own fault for installing so many PC games xD; |
Clean out your computer! *bops you*
Yeah, you can crop and resize and do a few other things. I've really only used it for cropping stuff so far. |
I would, but some of them needs the CD to uninstall and I'd left them at home! DD: |
O_o You should be able to uninstall them from your control panel. Why in the world would you need a disc for uninstalling? That's retarded. Like people keep track of those things once they install something.
I use my pet program, Paint shop Pro :D |
Really? :O |
Yes! *bops you* Go to your control panel and there's an option to uninstall programs. I'm assuming you're on a machine running windows. If you're on a mac, you're screwed, cause I don't know how to do that. XD
|
lol |
Sorry to butt into your conversation and all, but I've had programs that needed the disk to uninstall. And so they were always on our old computer, because naturally, the ones we wanted to get rid of were all ones that we needed the disk for, and could not find. |
@Fading - Yeah, waiting for them to load if you have a load of programs is loooong.
Ewwww. Windows Vista. Stinky! @Risika - Maybe in the old days of floppy disks XD Just kidding. It seems that mostly programs can be uninstalled from the Control Panel now. It just makes more sense. |
Hopefully that's the last I'll see of Baldur's Gate II...the game wasn't all that interesting... |
@Fading - It should be. Congrats on freedom from Baldur's Gate XD
I didn't like Vista. I ended up just installing XP on my Vista machine =P Aaaargh! Dammit! I was almost through a game of fangirls and I accidentally clicked on my brother's link to facebook. >_< I hate using other computers with other layouts, but this is the only computer I can run a full game of fangirls on! *watched 100 gold go down the toilet* x_x |
@Cookie: Yeah, it was an older program, so it's not as much of issue these days I'm sure. ^^ Vista's okay, although XP was definitely better... Has anybody heard anything about Windows 7? Wait, you can earn 100 gold at Fangirls? :o The most I've ever made is 35. xD |
@Risika - Yeah. Old programs, just old systems in general were more difficult. Our first computer was in in DOS! We had one of the very very first versions of Windows. You had to use it to run this certain encyclopedia we had. Oh man, I hated that Windows. Because once you ran it, I never could figure out a command to get me back to DOS mode without restarting the computer. And it's not as though I could look it up on the internet back then. We didn't have it! AOL and Prodigy were just just starting up and it was actually a long distance phone call to get onto the internet. *is old*
I've heard of Windows 7, the supposedly better version of Vista. I haven't used it or anything though. Yes ma'am. If you get up to Level 20 I think, you get the hundred gold. Don't quote me on that. You definitely get a hundred gold for completing the game though. You get 50 for getting to level 17 I believe. |
@Cookie: Haha, we had an old computer too, but I'm not sure whether it was DOS or not, as I was pretty young then. What??? No internet! *faints* Yeah, same here, I've heard of it, but don't know much about it. I was just curious, because my family was at Best Buy yesterday, and they have hardly any computers with Vista anymore, apparently. They sure replaced it pretty fast. xD Oh, wow. I'm generally lucky to make it past level 12. |
Hello guys (:
Fading: Sims 2 doesn't work on Vista? Aw great. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 doesn't.. and my Sims 2 probably won't then. Stupid Vista. I like it though.. I just don't like the fact you can't play old games on it. |
@Luna: Hi! Well, if you ave a really good computer, you could always install a second OS so you could play your older games. ^^ |
@Risika - Yeah, no internet! The horror! We used to play games like Wheel of Fortune and Sherlock Holmes and Manhole on the computer. All sorts of ancient super piexelated games with really bad sound XD Well, Manhole had classical music for sound, so that was good, but the rest were crappy.
That's because Vista was horrible. Soooo many people were complaining. Businesses refused to use it and were all going back to XP. They had to fix it or else people would just boycott it all together! Maybe you need to try a new strategy. I'm constantly changing mine...which is why I'll probably never make a perfect score ever again. I haven't managed it since XD Hey Luna :D |
I really don't know how to get good scores on Attack of the Fangirls. I get to.. I think it's level 14 or 15 and there's loads that come in so fast, and I just can't survive it. I have no idea what strategy you need to take.
I love the 'Happy Halloween' blinkie in your signature, Cookie! |
@Cookie: I love Wheel of Fortune. xD We have it for the SNES, actually. What exactly is Manhole? I've never heard of it... Mmm, agreed. If it weren't so expensive, I would've gone for one of the laptops with the XP downgrade option, but they were only available online. I actually have changed my strategy before, which allowed me to get as far as I have, but I'm not so sure how to go about improving it further. Besides, in the time it takes me to finish a game, I could've easily gotten 100 gold from 10-15 games of Snake. xD |
Sorry, I was away for dinner, couldn't find a restaurant that was open on Sunday night and had to walk all over the place before I finally settled for sushi ^^;; |
