@Jellybean - People seem to put a lot of faith in multi-tasking these days. But it really does mean that people are often all over the place. When you're organizing things or doing business, focus is a good thing. So what if you can answer the phone, write a memo and type a report with your toes? Will you be able to carry the conversation, write down the necessary stuff and have anything but gibberish typed on the screen? XD

@Alexz - It depends on what I'm tuning out. I just naturally pay attention, so it's hard not to.

@Cookie: I can't do anything if I'm on the phone. It's like I've suddenly lost the intellect to even walk. If I'm on the phone I'm on the phone and that's it.

@Jellybean - Yeah, I need to just talk to that person. I mean, I can jot down notes or whatever, but I can't watch tv or read. Oh, when my friend calls, I tend to play Chopper Challenge, because I can mindlessly wrack up gold while on the phone XD I suck at the game, but I'm just using the mouse and not really paying attention. Even low scores add up.

@Jellybean - My aunt always seems to call me when I'm watching tv. It's freaking annoying! Then I have to stop watching my show, because I can't listen to her repetitive rambling and focus on the show at the same time -_-

I can type out short answers, but not meaningful ones or participate in actual discussion while on the phone.
